Just read on safc website that reports of stteds son has cancer are untrue, he doesnt even have a son what sort of person writes these things unbelievable !!!! {Ed001's Note - the most worrying thing is that most of the Sunderland squad with Twitter had written messages wishing him well on there. So obviously none knew him well and had not even bothered to get in contact personally to wish him well! That suggests a serious lack of team spirit at the club, otherwise you would expect the club captain to make sure that the whole team got in touch.}
