To all the newcastle supporters who post on our banter page.would not the time you spend deriding our club be spent correcting the spelling on your BOYCOUT banners when Keegan did the runner. And while your on maybe change the Cockneys Out banners to Cockneys In. Just a thought.

Would it still be banter if i said keegan left a few years ago (so grab onto something else) and only a few persons in the newcastle support say ashley out etc, a will say it now and i do not care how many geordies agree but mike ashley is the best thing that ever happened to the toon, who cares if we got relegated we are now in europe (hope yous join us one day, not to say we will be there next season) a bloody hate the geordies cumin on here havin a go, so much better for the prem if both teams do well all season then go hammer n tongs in the derby, am a right?

Right lets have some banter. Everton away this weekend. I dont think we will even get a point.we seem a team who will settle for second best in most games.I know it sounds defeatist but it comes easy as a lifelong sunderland fan.I want to know how other cats fans feel. are you up.down. or even dont know.get typing andget it off your chest.

Ive followed the lads since 87 and think the toughest side was denis smiths when marco and bennett played 4 us,they never knew when they were beaten and played proper attacking footy.as for everton im not even going to listen to it,its got 4 or 5 nil written all over it,this current side are devoid of ideas and oneill is actually terrified to attack teams, just so he can hope 4 a clean sheet, his team is based purely on defence.its gonna be a very long season lads and lasses, lets just hope the likes of southampton and reading dont improve.tk73

Im a life long sland fan and i have a good friend who is a hartleppool supporter and when he hears me winge or moan about sunderland he's like what the hell is wrong? you have a 49,000 seater stadium you have some really good players that play international football martin o'neill is your manager you get to play in the best leauge in the world vs teams like arsenal man united chelsea spurs, and i kind of get what he means being a hartlepool supporter must be sickening most of the time and that goes for all the teams in leauge 1 and 2 we dont really understand how lucky we are as sunderland fans

Iam sure you will find out how it feels to play in league 1 pretty soon.

To be fair though our result against Everton is not really of any real relevance. Whether we play well or terrible we tend to get spanked at Goodison. It's just one of those grounds were we never get a result. And considering how poorly we have been in an attcking capacity it is unlikely to change any time soon. Having said all that I remain positive in general. I believe the players will turn it around even if I am the lone deluded voice(otherwise known as an actual fan). Just need some confidence. I mean in a way the pressure is off a bit at the weekend. The lads are expected to get a schooling so they have nothing to loose. We'll see.

Ever hopefull

Even if we did get relegated (and we wont) there is no way we would drop to league 1 so wind your neck in. Safc93
