Looked at Wigans run in, good news its worse than ours so its not all doom and gloom. SAFC to stay up. Wigan QPR and Reading to go down.
PDC too stay into new season and hopefully take us forward.

Believable6 Unbelievable3

Wigan better than safc and martinez better than pdc and villa hitting form only time will tell. k

Stoke

Agree2 Disagree3

Agree with that as Wigan and Villa play much more attacking football than us!

Agree4 Disagree1

Stoke falling fast. They're also heading into the mix. Going to be a tense but very exciting end to the season.

Agree4 Disagree2

Wigans last game is against Villa thatll be the game of Death! lol

In all honesty, we were never going to take points off Chelsea. But on the bright side, we actually looked a good team for a while. Nice to see Wickham getting a chance too, only took 31 games.

Believable6 Unbelievable1

We will be fine, were very unlucky with two deflected goals, confidence showed and we had them on the backfoot the last 10mins and also keeping the european champions to hardly no real shots and not really testing migs allgame is a great achievement

Agree9 Disagree1

I do believe you are one of a lot of our supporters who will be saying the same thing when we are in Div 2 or 3. Nothing will change your mind, but if you won't face the truth then enjoy your football.

Agree2 Disagree5

We will beat villa, Southampton and stoke and draw sunday. Safc93

Agree7 Disagree1

You obviously weren't at the same game. We didn't have a shot on target and Chelsea strolled through most of the game laughing and joking with each other.

Agree2 Disagree6

Stoke is the only opportunity, and even then we are doomed.

Agree2 Disagree4

Not feeling to positive about staying up but I am going to stick with the lads let's us just hope we do but if not promotion straight away! Come on you red and white army!

Agree2 Disagree1

Why don't you negative fans do one or even better the geordies pretending to be mackems get your tissue's out ready for sunday when we beat you at the sports direct arena

Agree3 Disagree3

You been asleep for 9 months? Back to ST JAMES PARK

Agree3 Disagree0

And in another 9 month it will be the wonga dome. Safc. 93

Agree3 Disagree2

And in 9 months time we will still be in the premiership.

Agree3 Disagree5

I know in 9 months time sunderland will still be in the premiership but wonga united will be in fizzy pop league and finally at a level where they may do well

Di canio has said he is disappointed with the players fitness and it is his top priority (other than avoiding relegation) to make them fit so that they can compete against the top teams for a full 90 mins

Believable9 Unbelievable0

So he blames it all on fitness. A pretty crap excuse, all first class football clubs have state of the art gyms and fitness facilities with professional fitness gurus and strict regimes. Do you really believe that this is the route of the problem - Friday Night on the lash and Donna Kebabs. Hadaway - the man is making excuses already.

Another weekend of miserable results which conspire against us - we are really looking doomed with the press against us re sacking their favourite ONeill and Dicanio's political history.
Even the mighty Shaka Hislop is asking for Dicanio's political position to be clarified - I thought he'd said everything that needed to be said in the Club Statement - I now think everyone in football should have to make a statement denouncing the Devil and claiming eternal loyalty to Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Incidentally, where was Shaka when Dicanio came to this country and was plying his trade? Answers - no where to be seen because he's a nobody! A bit like all the others who've jumped on to this band wagon of Dicanio haters!
Anyway, if we do go down it will be because Bruce and ONeill were pitiful in buying Championship players with no pace or work ethic - if Dicanio stays and I hope he does, I believe he knows what a good player looks like and we will ultimately be better for it!
No doubt a 'root and branch' review will take place again and people will lose their jobs at the Club but the buck for this is at Bruce and O'Neill's door not Dicanios.
Let's get behind him and these abject players for the last few games and ask the good Lord for a bit of luck when needed! Sami Diglit. Whitley Bay.

Believable9 Unbelievable2

Apparently he has got a clause in his contract that if we go down he is sacked

Agree2 Disagree5

What a load of sh**e he has a 2and a half year contract weather we get relegated or not

Agree1 Disagree1

The club have put the clause in his contract so if they wish they can sack him if we go down

Agree1 Disagree0

If that was the case why not give him the job till the end of the season and if we stop up or get relegated consider him for the post then give him a contract for 2 seasons just can't get my head round where you get your information he will be sacked if we go down unless pdc has shown you his deal

Johnson has said PDC treats them like the best players in the world bennisimo

Believable7 Unbelievable0

It's a shame he is rubbish

Agree3 Disagree10

I thought Johnson had a good game the first half! he knows if he doesn't improve hell be out! he is one that needs to improve his fitness levels!
