Before any of you start I'm a MON fan but I really think he's lost the plot letting Whickham go out on loan. So much for him going to start Fletcher and Graham together, where would our cover be then? I understand that Whickham needs playing time but anywhere outside the premiership defeats the object for me. I thought he was easily knocked off the ball last season but this season he has looked much stronger and has looked decent when called upon. Why ship out every striker we have leaving us with no other strikers to shake things up. Its all good and well being able to re-call him at anytime but what happens if Fletcher or Graham get injured during a game, put Westwood upfront?
