I know this is totally irrelavant but malky mackay looks like he's heading out of cardiff so what do you reckon that di canio or oneill end up there haha. Also i'm very interested in how much poyet will get in january and who he will go for?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He has been promised quite a bit of funds
With the money back from sales we only spent around 4m
Whereas the Southampton's etc spent around 30m, it has paid off though!

I suggest 3 players
Goalkeeper, centre back and a winger

Agree0 Disagree0

And your source for him having significant funds is? Guarantee he won't have that much to spend. Can wave goodbye to spending big, making losses and a fair play rule to adhere to.

Agree0 Disagree0

And maybe a top class forward

Striker!!!!1

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with centre back and goalkeeper, but we still need a creative central midfield. As a bonus we could do with a striker who could give us 15 to 20 goals. I am not sure that any of our strikers can do that, not even Fletcher, so goals are also needed from midfield.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cardiff have replaced there head of recruitment with a 23year old with no footballing experience, could be worst they could have joe kinnear

Agree0 Disagree0

Some teams do not spend much on transfers, but still burn up their kitty.

Everton were known for that, they did not spend much on players, but paid good wages to ensure quality. Arteta even had to take a pay cut to join Arsenal.

I am not sure how you could have money, especially with about £8 million of players out on loan - plus the large squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

Could see a few players leaving, which would provide a bit funding. The fair play is as much to do with wages as anything else.
We need to get rid of the likes of Bardsley, O'Shea and Johnson, but can't see O'Shea and Johnson getting another club to pay their wages.

The telegraph mate
Type it in in google, and under that there is another interesting article saying he will be given 30m! Tools sure we stay in the PL

I might aswell say this because I know everyone is thinking it but the south "standing" stand have been pretty quiet to be honest so far this season fair enough the football on the pitch hasn't been great but I sit in the west stand and I can't hear a thing all I can hear is the away fans up in the gods singing the man united fans sung from the 1st minute to the 90th non stop we seem to have just kept the same songs from the last 10 years nothing new a few chants for Cattermole but that's about it, so remember to bring your voices with you to the nufc game coz well need them.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Couldnt agree more mate very embarrasing to be honest. fair play to you lot though!

Agree0 Disagree0

100% agree,
everyone in that stand is prepared to stand up the whole game but the atmosphere they create is just nil

Agree0 Disagree0

I think though we need to be honest and say the man utd support especially 1 0 down was truly immense and not seen at SOL before. In defence of us fans its difficult when you carry so much hope into new season only to realise its same disappointments all over again. I still think we are special supporters and away support is as strong as ever.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree I Woz in the south stand 4 the first time against Man U nd the atmosphere is non existent after Man U equalised! Shameful!

Agree0 Disagree0

Yep, the atmosphere has been as poor as the football. All though there was a hint of improvement for both against man u.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets put things in perspective, the atmosphere has still been positive and still got behind the team in terms of trying to drive it forward. Any football fan in the country would be gutted at the start we made and yet there has been very little discontent shown during games which would only make things more difficult. I think the atmosphere has been good all things considering and if I wanted a song sung it would be 'your not fit to wear the shirt' but it would do no one any good so don't slate passionate fans.

Agree0 Disagree0

How can you insult the sunderland fans being pathetic calling the atmosphere. The fans deserve a medal. Turning up in big numbers even though the team is bottom, crap, no wins, the clubs a mess. games were live on sky.

The atmosphere at times has been awesome. It went flat when man united went ahead because it was game over, same old story, our players had given up at 2-1.

If we were near the top of the league playing great to watch football, being competative and winning games and the atmosphere was poor you would then have a point.

The old Roker Roar is still alive, the fans just need something to shout about.

Agree0 Disagree0

7th post down tou clearly see your self more of a customer than a supporter and a fan

Agree0 Disagree0

To be honest we were out sung by arsenal and Liverpool and Liverpool could be heard singing when I was walking past the ticket office

Agree0 Disagree0

The 7th post down is from a supporter who goes every home and away game and will be more of a supporter than you'll ever be so get off your high horse.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is ridiculous. How many grounds you go to where home fans sing more than away fans. Never. Atmosphere rivals anyone in england, especially considering we've been crap more times than good. I think a lot of these posts are from part time fans looking for dedicated fans to carry them.

Agree0 Disagree0

9th post down its debatable
