Hooper s**t? 65 goals in 87 games.And before you trot out the SPL excuse look at Jelavic at Everton last season after he left Rangers. {Ed046's Note -jelavic is better in my opinion

Jelavic is twice the player........lots of spl players come to epl and dont make it at all..theres only a few who ever do make it.....k

Hooper will be more like 6-7m not a bad player

You cant compare Hooper with Jelavic ... Hooper is not a scorer of great goals hes a poacher ..its an art to be in the right place at the right time ...not many poachers about anymore. Gary had scored more goals from open play than Jelavic before he was sold ( 5 of his were pens !) hardly a prolific striker .
Gary would be a great striker in a team with good service in the prem...i'd bet he scores 15+ in his first premiership season if he gets the chance.
I have it on good authority anyhow that he is not on Sunderlands wishlist just internet rumours....There are 2 lower end prem teams with him on their wishlist and 1 foreign team.

Hooper is a better finisher but jelavic has more of a presence hooper has good link up play aswell {Ed046's Note - both good players

Marty likes S Fletcher from Wolves and he knows him from his time in Scotland, good player, put your trust in M. O'Neil he's one of the best coaches in Europe never mind England, he's got the Midas touch {Ed046's Note - MoN has other targets

I wouldn't mind hooper he's english and scored 51 goals in 86 appearances including 3 in europe.
