Huddlestone to be confirmed with Peruzzi on Sunday have also heard that rose is keen to sign however we are not willing to pay 10mil so we are to offer a take it or leave it offer of 7.5 mil

I think now that maclean will get a chance to do what he's best at beating a player and whipping crosses into a busy box we will see a big improvement last season he had to hold the ball up n draw defenders but without any movement from rest of team so it was a back pass or lost ball, will probably be used as an impact player tho,

That McClean post is nuts, can't honestly blame other players for McClean proving to be a v poor premier league player. need to face facts, he has been completely found out and is unbelievably easy to play against if your a defender of a reasonable standard. i'm pretty confident we'll try and sell him now.

All McClean does is get the ball and kick it past the defender and chases after it

You are wrong. McLean does not knock the ball past the fullback and run after it. If he did he would be more successful. He always receives the ball standing still and then knocks it inside failing to spot the space behind the fullback. He has the legs to knock it past the fullback and run past him but never does it and it drives me mad!

Anyone think McClean could operate as a left back? One of the things I like about him is that he always chases back and isn't scared to put a tackle in. Would rather have Rose obviously and not bothered if we lose McClean but just a thought?

I have seen 3 Italian sources about Insigne possibly coming to us

But, I didn't memorise the website link, sorry!

I got this from the Italian source, So it pretty much says, Rafa Benitez wants to revamp Napoli, (much like PDC) which means selling some top, distinguished players such as Inler and INSIGNE because of the arrivals of Mertens and Rafael, probable signings are Gonalons and Callejon as well.

Sunderland in talks with Yilmaz along with another club probably not get him but great intent

Great player but think it would cost upwards of 15mil to sign him. Maby a bit out our reach. Di Canio is looking more towards Matri at half that cost 7-8mil.

The only thing I can say is that although I've never heard of any of these players he's signing they have got to be an improvement on the terrible shower who came down here last season and were hammered 6-1.
It was only Wigans failings that saved you from the drop last season, not the brilliance of de Canio.

Villa were woeful last season. Benteke kept your shower up. See how you do without him this season. Lambert is well out of his depth in Prem.

Well ed I think we'll be o. k. Either the manager will find us another Benteke with his unrivalled eye for a player or we will go with what we have. Last season was a learning curve for our youngsters and now they have had time to gell they will be fine.

After all the money Sunderland AFC have spent so far how much have we got to spend I am on this website 4/6 times a day and still can't keep up we have spent around, £6m Jozy Altidore, £2m Vito Mannone, £1.5m David Moberg Karlsson, Duncan Watmore Unknown, so far that makes £9.5m but with £4m Gino Peruzzi, £6.8m Emanuele Giaccherini which makes £20.3m

Be around 40m

Not forgetting the sales of migs and elmo etc. so we haven, t spent big. YET

You also have to add signing on fees for the bosmans. They don't really sign for nothing

That doesn't sound a million miles away. There'll be a bit for Ba's compensation to add too.

I guess if we offset the outgoings; Mignolet £10M and El Mohammedy £2M it brings the net spend down to c£8M to date.

More to follow in both directions me thinks!
