N'Diaye is to go out on loan as Di Canio sees him as one for the future. The freed up wages are to be used to fund Raul Meireles deal. I'm ok with this deal as Meireles is still class and has EPL experience at top teams and will be our midfield playmaker might get 1-2 good seasons out of him

Any news On Mavrias and Peruzzi?

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Peruzzi almost done.

Agree4 Disagree0

Reports say we have pulled out of the greek lads deal, an I think peruzzi must be swimming to england the length of time this transfer is taking.

Thought I'd do a Newcastle vs Sunderland team sheet for next season with players signed, looks like they are to sign and also players who look like they are to be sold. Let's see what everyone thinks.

Tim Krul Westwood
Yanga-Mbiwa. Peruzzi
Coloccini Diakite
S. Taylor Roberge
Santon A. sissoko
Sissoko Vs. Cabral
Totie. Meireles
Hatem Ben Arfa Giaccherini
Marveaux. Sessegnon
Gouffran. Johnson
Remy. Alitdore

My veiw is 6 points to us if the team can gel. What's everyone's thoughts for derby day?

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Pointless post. Sunderland fans will say sunderland players and Newcastle fans Newcastlle players. Too much bias.

Also its only opinions anyway and proves nothing.

Agree2 Disagree1

Who's A. Sissoko

Agree2 Disagree1

{Ed024's Note - Aly Cissokho - Valenia left back.}

Thanks ed

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that the same aly cissokho who said he his happy at valencia and doesn't want to leave.

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed024's Note - Yes that's him - he plays for 'cash strapped Valencia'}

The most pointless post I've ever seen. You could have done the same last season and we would have took six points off you all day. It doesn't work like that. Derby days shock wins etc. you concentrate on FIFA and let the big lads talk sensibly about real football. You tube.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

{Ed024's Note - I'm sure it will be announced soon - fingers crossed.}

Odd that seems to be taken an eternity!

Danny Graham signed for Hull one year loan deal

Believable4 Unbelievable0

BIG mistake I feel Graham will score loads of goals at Hull never given a chance here and worse still we are one striker short now as Fletcher isn't fully fit yet. same as last season short on strikers!

Agree3 Disagree6

He had 14 games to score a goal and didn't manage it and we have 5 strikers without him - fletch, altidore, Wickham, Mandron and Ji if needed

Agree4 Disagree1

And giaccherini

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed024's Note - He's more attacking midfield - similar to Sess.}

Mate the is still like 5 weeks of the transfer window left and we'll be linked with every players that ever existed twice over in the time. Chill!

In Pdc we trust

Agree2 Disagree0

But as an option we could play altidore up front wit either giaccherini or sess behind him ed

Agree0 Disagree0

"Graham wasn't given a chance" You're right he was given 13 chances. And they were all memorable for all the wrong reasons.

Hull got Graham on loan,
Now we will go for other strikers, any guesses

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Cisse. just to wind up our unclean neighbours. would'nt it be great if we got him and he smashes in 25 goals for us. oh the irony

Apparently the bid for N'Daiye is around 7m

Believable4 Unbelievable5

They sell us him for 3. 8 then offer7? I very very very much doubt it

Personally I would not sell N Daye. Last season against Everton at Stadium of Light he marked Fellaini out of the game. Not many players can do that. He has tons of potential and unless he has someone better lined up I would not entertain selling him.

Believable8 Unbelievable1

I am hearing cissokho from valencia on loan with a view to buy to replace ndaiye. Good player

Agree1 Disagree3

I would actually be surprised if he left. Di Canio used him in every game (I think) and you could see the improvement that he had under PDC's management, in such a short one too. People think he's a donkey and can't score but they forget the kind if player he's is, a powerhouse at the heart of the field that does a better job than Cattermole, Gardner, Larsson.

I think it would be stupid to let a young, strong and committed player leave, especially under the regime at the club.

Be tempted if its part of a mereles deal. bit of composure/cladd in the middle of the pitch

Agree2 Disagree4

Could be making way for meireles?

Agree1 Disagree4

Cissokho is a left back, so wouldn't be to replace ndiaye

Agree2 Disagree0

Lad has some raw potential but to me just doesn't look premiership class bit like wickham

Agree0 Disagree3

Cissokho lb, so he not replace him, maybe mereles. I keep lad, great hard working player. topcat

Agree3 Disagree1

We need to accept that we can't have a midfield full of attacking players. We need holding players and surely that's what N'Diaye was brought in for, and I for one thought he done a half decent job in a team lacking in desire and confidence

Agree4 Disagree0

Hardly replace n'diaye when he is a left back!

Agree1 Disagree0

Second poster, cissokho would not replace N`Diaye because he's a left back, you wally!. N`Diaye is a holding midfield player.

Agree1 Disagree0

The players we loved last season are not the players we want this season N, Daye looked good in an ordinary side that side has been disbanded take a look at outgoings ( transfers ) no premiership clubs are breaking their necks to sign our players of last season no premiership clubs are breaking their necks to sign N Daye we are looking to get players of a higher quality players that are comfortable on the ball players that will keep us out of the relegation zone players that will improve our position in the premiership its a case of forgetting last season and moving on now wether the players we have aquired can do this for us is for you and I to see forget about your Cattamoles and your third rate mid fielders we now move to second rate mid fielders there's no way we are going to get first class players this season but as our position in the league improves and our scouting team has a full season to work on then we will have the capability to attract the better players from around the world its a massive job to get to the status of Everton never mind those above them it has to be carefully managed and I can see that we are building the foundation to get there remember FAIL TO PREPARE PREPARE TO FAIL

Agree2 Disagree0

Cissokho is a left back you fool

Agree1 Disagree1

It was said once, now, after 416 repeats, I think we can safely assume Cissokho is a left back. But, incase anyone didn't catch on, CISSOKHO IS A LEFT BACK YOU PLEB! Please now, no more?!

Agree1 Disagree1

That poor lad who said Cissoko is N'Daiyes replacement has probably commited suicide by now due to the relentless abuse

That said, silly thing to say!
