So PDC said he wanted 2 more signing. We need full backs and we've just let Danny graham go on loan to make way for another striker? Who do we all think it'd be? Or who we would like to come in (got to be a smaller, fast striker?)

Believable3 Unbelievable0

I don't understand all the talk of us "needing" a new striker to be honest. As it stands we have 5 strikers within our squad, obviously some may move out on loan deals etc but for the minute they aren't and it's not as if we're trying to replace a star striker. I'm much happied to see either Wickham or Ji be given some game time than if Graham had been.

Seems like PDC is planning for the future with Peruzzi, Ba, Karlsson, Probably Mavrais and Hopefully Insigne!

Just been on the Mag site, oh what a crock of sh*t that gets put on there

Our Full Italian international who was fantastic against Spain and Brazil apparently wouldn't get into the Newcastle team

They some how seem to think Marveux is better than all of our signings!
I was sooo confused?
I bet he wasn't a 6 year old either, prove a full grown bloke, problem is that he was bred by Geordies

Believable5 Unbelievable1

We're in Newcastles shadow remember. They are far far bigger.
Because newcastles city has had more investment than sunderlands everything about Newcastle is better including the football clubs. Remember they have an airport. (Part paid for by sunderland tax money).

They have more league titles than us oh just researched that no we have more ooops.

They have a biggger attendance record oh no that's us again 75k to 68k.

They have a category one status academy oh my mistake that's us too.

It must of been them that had the team of all talents, bank of England club, feared roker Roar etc etc.

They are obsessed with being a big club, We couldn't give a monkeys, I don't support sunderland because they are big or small I'm not bothered. I support sunderland because my dads from sunderland and told me I support sunderland. Its the only thing I ever listened to him about everything else I did the opposite. Its in my blood its who I am.

I would support the lads if we were relegated 20 times and playing in an amateur league on a back field.

Agree22 Disagree1

Totally agree with the toon obsession with being bigger than us. I also don't give a flying fook if they like to believe this I just support sunderland through and through always have always will (class when an underdog beats a bigger club) very romantic don't u think - remember 0 - 3, jawdees your arses were spanked and thank u for thee empty grey seats, priceless big club!

Agree5 Disagree1

That second post gave me goosebumps lol. i`m the same living in mag territory grown up alongside them, had mick taking out of me all my life by them, but safc is my life and i love sunderland and always will no matter what happens to us

sunderland til i die

Agree8 Disagree1

Well done Sunderland fans. finally a couple off you talking sense. I agree I'm a toon fan always will be I've supported them for 25 years
Through thick and thin. And that's how it should be support who you support for the right reasons not the pencil case supporters from man utd Liverpool etc.

Agree4 Disagree0

That second post was awesome.

You should be a motivational speaker as I got goosebumps too.

The second poster its fans like you that makes us better than them. Newcastle have many plastic fans many glory craving who jumped on the bandwagon in the keegan era of the 90s. Nothing wrong with that i'm not using it as an insult to Newcastle as its the same with man utd liverpool chelsea etc.

None of our fans are plastic not even one as all of our fans are real fans. Even the ones who watch the games in pubs. None of us support sunderland because were glory supporters. Newcastle don't have that they have a mixture of real fans and plastics.

Agree3 Disagree1

Skunks also have quite a few turncoats who swapped red and white stripes for black and white. These are the lowest of the low. I know of one, who, when I called him a 92er, he said "not me, I changed in the mid-eighties". Not just a turncoat, but a liar too.

I actually think we do stand a descent chance of Insigne even though Napoli say they don't want to sell him
•His agent has said it would be smart if he came to us, World Cup in mind
•Napoli are or have got Mertens, Pandev, Callejon, Higuain and Damiao who Happen to play in the exact same positions as Insigne
•He said he could consider a move abroad (probably Agent influenced)
•We probably will offer him a better contract
•Won't get 1st team at Napoli, needs it for World Cup
•Once PDC wants someone, he will do his best to get him

Believable8 Unbelievable6

Not a chance

Agree7 Disagree7

Totally agree think we could get him think that's why we're cooling our interest in the Greek lad. Insigne is going to be a sunderland player before long

Agree9 Disagree4

Mavrias will sign this week.

Agree6 Disagree2

Just landed back in the UK from Naples after a really interesting conversation with the taxi driver who is was fanatical Napoli fan. He is convinced that Insigne is staying at Napoli as Bentitez is continually stating this in the local and national press.

Anyone know what the price is for Alfie?

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Ive heard 6.5 million

Agree4 Disagree2

Mmmm I think this could be start of the get them in and move them on at a profit, which could be a good thing if young talent see us as a stepping stone and want to come, and if we do well some might stop, and if the profits are used to buy the best ie insinge etc

Agree5 Disagree2

Only payed £3.4 million

Agree2 Disagree0

Never mind the price, why let him go? He looked a decent player to me. after 6 months at our club I am baffled. Chris-s.

Agree9 Disagree0

Making funds for. Insigne!

I don't understand I read on forza italian football that insigne's agent said he was not coming to us and his first name was antonio but another man called fabio said he was his agent and said there is a possibility of him coming so who is lorenzo insigne's actual agent. The Antonio guy said that he was his agent about 20hours ago and fabio said he was agent about a day ago. Does anyone know who his actual agent is?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Think it is Fabio

Agree2 Disagree1

Agent is listed as ungekart. Sorry if spelled wrong. Looks like a company. They have many players including jose enrique, tom cleverley and jonny evans. So don't believe anyone called fabio or angelo or some other italian name.

Agree1 Disagree0

More agents that mi5!

Looks like peruzzi will sign after sunderland were given the green light from a specialist bout a ligament problem.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Hope this guy isn't another Angeleri! remeber his knee was injured in the previous season!.

Agree3 Disagree1

He will be keeping Diakite company on the injury tables next season.

Good idea, you don't want them getting lonely.

Looks like we are making an enquiry over aly cissokho as the orban deal has fallen through. Good solid left back but its becoming more and more obvious that were not getting rose, shame but can understand Tottenham wanting to keep hold after last season

Believable2 Unbelievable3

I think he is going to liverpool

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed052's Note - It does seem so}

Liverpool are favourites to get Cissoko, would like us to get Enrique, had a consistent season

Agree1 Disagree2

{Ed052's Note - Actually Enrique wasn't consistent at all. He started poorly, so got dropped, then was exceptional, then was poor again. He did play for Newcastle remember}

Don't matter if he's played for the scum

BENT??

Agree1 Disagree1

On fa stats last season Enrique was best defender in premiership

also i'm not a catts fan but for those who can't wait to see him go here is some stats from the racing post on Saturday the 25 year olds strength is providing protection for his back four in 10 league apperances all starts we conceded 11 goals at an average of 1. 10 per game when catts didn't play we shipped 43 goals at an average of 1. 54 a game very interesting stats those

there one to watch is altidore with giaccherini mentioned as an amazing signing

On twitter velez twitter account said that peruzzi has failed his medical!

7SAFC7

Believable2 Unbelievable4

He has, slight ligament strain showed up on a scan. He's gone back to Argentina until it clears up. Nothing serious, the report I read said he would probably fly back out next week.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not true all it was a old injury but nothing seroius will be a sunderland player this week

Ed, I appreciate that this is a rumours site, and that not all rumours will be passed on by posters in the form of 'second hand news', and that in some instances rumours will originate from the poster themselves, but when someone gives a 'source' for their rumour - like 7SAFC7 has just done, and it simply does not check out, it makes him either a fool or a mag.

There is no reference to Gino Peruzzi in any form on the Velez twitter account.
End of.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed052's Note - I didn't put that post up, so I can't help, sorry}

23 Jul 2013 09:49:01
Just wondering which of his two posts 7SAFC7 actually believes. The one above or the one he posted a couple of days ago also referring to the Velez twitter account where he reported the Velez claim on twitter that Peruzzi had signed for 5 million and passed his medical!
I know who the real twitter is!

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jul 2013 09:52:31
Simply not true - absolutely nothing on the Velez twitter account even mentions Peruzzi.
