i would prefer to have gardner in the middle tomorrow than larsson. what's your thoughts? obviously until the new cm comes in if we get one!

Believable11 Unbelievable2

At least Gardner has a shot on him

Agree10 Disagree1

How on earth can a club like Southampton afford and draw a player like Osvaldo? the same with Cardiff and Bony why can't we go after players for £15 million!

Agree3 Disagree2

Agree and Gardener is useful at free kicks and brilliant at penalties!

Agree5 Disagree1

Only 1 chamge I would make and that's swap gards for sess and play him in the hole

Agree3 Disagree2

Bony plays for Swansea.

Agree5 Disagree1

Give it a rest man with the negativity. We looked perfectly fine in first game and di canio working on the midfielder. Talked all summer on this page about being patient and 1 game in and suddenly were criticised for not acting like swansea and southampton in the transfer market. When, and I believe it is a when, we improve over course of season you'll be same lot praising the backsides off us. i'm enjoying being a sunderland fan at the moment, you should be the same.

Agree6 Disagree1

Sorry but everytime gardner goes in CM he disappears out the game completely. he just ends up floating around like a bad smell and doesn't get involved.

Agree4 Disagree1

If the poster knew anything about football he would not ask questions about Saints finances! Do your homework-if you didn't know they are one of the wealthiest clubs in the Premiership, that's your problem. As for Cardiff, they are doing a QPR, and Championship here we come!

Agree1 Disagree3

Southampton can draw players like that because they trust the manager, and they can see they are involved in a good team, Sunderland will get there in the end but not this season, Paolo will bed in this year, don't look for something to soon, next year is your year with a settled team.

Agree5 Disagree1

Gardener in the middle for me instead of Seb, a lot of folks call Gardener but the lad was among our top scorers last season from right back.

Agree2 Disagree1

This is southampton and swansea who have both been on the brink of financial ruin in there time, not idea of teams to look up to and envy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Didnt we spend nearly 25 mill on two players not to long ago.

The bid for De Ceglie has stalled, De Ceglie prefers to stay in Turin.
It is believed we're after a ligue 1 player by the name of Cheikh M'Bengue.

Thoughts?

Believable6 Unbelievable2

Real Madrid have agreed a fee of 93m for Gareth Bale aswell as Fabio Coentrao going to Tottenham, the deal should be completed in the next 24 hours
In a rescent interview Danny Rose said he is not sitting on the bench for another season, he very much loved his time with us and enjoyed playing for us every week, he wants to get settled and will not be messing round with any Loans, Coentrao is highly probable to take that LB position so I think our chances of getting him are stronger than ever now!

Agree2 Disagree5

Think i'd rather have cheikh mainly because he is better defensively than de ceglie. they both good good players and are both attacking but like I say cheikh is abit better all round

Agree4 Disagree1

He is fast seems to have a good touch and a deft tackle. Could do a good job I think.

Agree3 Disagree0

To my post two up I was comparing de ceglie and cheikh not rose lol

Agree1 Disagree1

Yes, my thought is that we should forget about them two and go for Rose, a player who loved to play for us, isn't a risk and prefers to play his best to ensure he gets fist team rather than play for the money
Okay me smarty pants?

Kebabe going to gooners no buys west ham to win 3 nil nolan hatrick haha sund win one nil mavrias to score I hope should put fletch on bench give him half hr run out

Agree1 Disagree2

Dundee united

Agree3 Disagree0

Given a chance Di Canio will make Sunderland great again, he has the makings of a good manager, but the guy needs time, and we know that's in short supply.

Agree4 Disagree2

Who? must be a star playing for Dundee Utd, Liam Boyce is a better bet from Ireland, Paolo would make him a great player or kill him trying

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed024's Note - From Cliftonville .....er..........No.}

Sunderland keen on deal for Swansea midfielder Ki Sung-Yeung
is this the ENGLISH playmaker we were looking for!!

Believable8 Unbelievable3

Maybe there isn't English playmaker that is that good. KI is a very good player did well at Celtic and the 39 games he's played for Swansea he's done outstandingly 3rd best passing rate in prem. It's on loan so if it dosent work out then no hard feelings but if he's class we pay £6mill then he's ours!

Agree2 Disagree1

Ive just checked him on youtube. I for one would be pleased if we signed him. He can produce brilliant defence splitting passes, can tackle and shoot. Many of the games on youtube were against the top premiership teams and he opened them up. He is young and may be the Ki to Ji playing better.

Agree3 Disagree2

Mcclean looks great on you tube

Agree3 Disagree0

The lad can play, no doubt.
