Why is it that some sunderland supporters hate liverpool as much as newcastle. Really don't get it.

We don't hate Liverpool. But Liverpool fans and Newcastle fans have a lot in common. Both Deluded.

No doubt some Liverpool fans hate Sunderland. There is no sense in actually hating opposing fans or clubs, rivalry is to be expected but hate is going too far.
I don't hate Newcastle, but love taking the piss out of some of the deluded supporters.

? Why do we need big money signings? i'd be happy with good free or good value players if they were up to the job, a big shining would be great but I would rather be realistic and optimistic.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers insists Mignolet would have to compete with Pepe Reina and will not be his replacement.
Poor move in the end for Migs if he does leave? Unless he can prove his worth of course. {Ed024's Note - No one pays £11 for a sub, Rodgers is saying the right things but if Migs goes to Liverpool he will be playing come the season opener}

I think we should go in for Shane Long, Arouna Kone, or possibly get Wilfried Zaha on loan from Man Utd. We could even stick a £8m bid in for Klaas Jan Hunterlaar, and if Mr Short is really ambitious stick a cheeky £1 bid in for Newcastles full team

Looks good for the new season! Very optimistic depending on the signings mind! I think we could finish top ten if we play some good attacking football which di canio wants. All these concerts are only going to give us good publicity so at the matches let's sing our hearts out and start the season on the up!

I think what most fans want to see more than anything is some direction in the club and progress on the field over the course of next season. They have started well without kicking a ball and the main thing is not to panic if it takes a bit of time. Its not this hope for the best attitude that has diseased the club and as long as we see a considered plan to finally get this club moving to better things then i'm not absolutely concerned over league position next year. providing its not relegation. {Ed024's Note - Couldnt agree more}
