Its good to see we are now signing class players instead of entering into a mass frenzy of signing players who may be premiership quality - its now down to MON to gel them into a team. We still need a left back though !!
Never been a bruce fan but his mass frenzy as you called it was needed as our squad was wafer thin. he bought some good players to the club along with a couple of poor players. only problem being bruce couldnt pick his best team and his tactics were poor. now in mon all he needs to do is add the quality and take us that step further hopefully with a top 8 finnish this year.

Fletcher has finally now signed for Sunderland. Adam Johnson is currently in Sunderland having talks with the club. MON next target is Martin Olssen to solve Sunderlands left back problem. Both Frazier Campbell and Kieran Richardson have been linked with Fulham so those two may be used in a swap deal to get Clint Dempsey. Looks like promisng days ahead. In MON we trust.

Whatever people say about Fletcher there is no getting past the fact he scored 12 goals last season in a team that was the worst in the league.He may not score any wonder strikes from 30 yards but that is not the sort of player we need. We need someone who can lead the line and put away chances in the box. By leading the line and occupying the defenders(which he does brilliantly) he will create space for Sess. We haven't had that for a season and a half. Defenders could essentially leave our main striker to there own devices because they went missing on the wings. This meant they could put two men on Sess & McClean everytime. If you have Fletcher actually do the job of a striker then they can't do that thus creating more space for our creative players. He may not be a world class player but he is the perfect player for our squad. And he's only 25 which means we probably haven't even seen his best yet. On top of that if we can get Johnson I'll be chuffed. Here's hoping...
Just make sure you thrash WBA and fletcher gets a hat trick

OK so we payed over the odds for Fletcher but let me tell you he will be a fantastic signing for us. He works hard and lays on goals as well as scoring them and is exactly a MON type player. He will thrive in our team regardless of who else we buy. Lets all get behind the big man and it aint his fault we had to pay the over inflated price for him. CMON!
