I don't know how anyone feels but I personally don't like the idea of signing Downing. He's 30 and not really going to bring the sustainability we need to do better than the last few seasons.

i Agree its the same position as last pre season we are going for some odd players and Downing at £7 million what on earth is Congerton doing?? the best decision we can make is to get rid of Congerton! where are the quality targets Avodcaat promised as we seem to be shopping for bargains?

we can't be shopping for bargains if we are to bid 7mil for downing. we are buying players for well above there evaluation. getting robbed is what we are doing.
