{Ed024's Note - Good guy but he wouldn't even make the long list.}

How many woefully Inept or biased refereeing performance's does Howard Webb have to have against us before he is no longer able to officiate in our game's. again got numerous key decision wrong corner for first goal was not a corner then to compound the error he and his assistant then go and miss a blatant hand ball or elbow if your being pedantic for the first goal does the look of guilt from sturridge not give it away but before they scored they should have been reduced to ten men for the clear and blatant block on giacherini but because webb would have had to send the defender off he choose to turn a blind eye. I know the southern media and press will just say it only sunderland so these thing's happen but it is now becoming a bit of a farce as it is now the second time it has happened in the last two home game's against the media favourite's or so called top six team as they like to call them the EPL have got to get there act together and start taking these extremely poor or corrupt people to task by not just demoting them for a game so some other club's fans have to endure there ineptitude but by dropping them from there match rota or do we have to endure it all again in our next home game as we have another of the favoured team's finally the back pass or pass forward which mignolet then pick's up and everybody in the ground witnesses but again Webb and his equally follicully challenged assistant somehow amazingly miss ENOUGH IS ENOUGH SORT IT OUT sunderland afc should be making a call to mike Riley to explain why this is continually happening

You were beat fair & square.
That was never a penalty againt Gianccherini, Toure did not block him.

I hope not it'll end in disaster for Kevin!! There is the same shocking defensive frailties there! As we saw today!! Slow! Out of position regularly! Just school boy defending at times! Why would you take a proper right back out of the team and put Gardner there?? It doesn't make sense! Cellar and Shea are our slowest partnership in the centre!? Come against a team like Liverpool who counter attack with pace?? Just not good enough well done to cats and jacca!

Sorry but as big a Sunderland fan as I am I think you are bang out of order in blaming Webb for our loss.
For the first goal it was a definite corner. The ball clearly came off our defender. Yes there is a point about the handball, however it was so quick it was a 50/50 whether or not it would be seen. On the same subject if our defender had handled the same way would you have posted if he had got away with it? I note you castigate Darren Cann for missing the handball but offer no praise to the marginal offside when Skirtel scored after the free-kick was parried early in the game.
I agree about the back-pass not given but all-in-all Webb had a decent game, with the handball just one of those things where luck is deserting us at present. And before you accuse me of being a Newcastle fan or whatever I have been an SAFC fan for nearly fifty years.

Beat fair and square? i'm the first to be pessimistic but sunderland were the better team. One difference tliverpool had a goalscorer.
First goal was handball, third goal was against the run of play because sunderland were chasing the equaliser when if it had been 1-1 like it should of been they wouldn't had go all out attack and the third goal would not of happened.
3-1 flattered Liverpool. 1-1 would of been the fair result.
Cattermole was the best midfielder on the pitch. That safc team would batter newcastle, they don't have the class of sturridge and Suarez. That was the only difference.

Well Decent effort. by Di Canio's SIGNINGS and Cattermole. Larsson - Cuellar - O'shea - Gardner - Johnson for me showed how good they are. I was going to say s****. but that would be paying them a complement
Dear Manager please play the following side next game.
Westwood
Celustka - Roberge - Diakate - Colback
Mavrias - Ki - Cattermole - Cabral - Giaccherini
Altidore
subs: Mannone, O'shea, Gardner, Ba, Borini, Wickham, Johnson

Could'nt agree more. This is our strongest starting 11. Hope we get a manager that feels the same way.

Cant believe Colback. Most of goals have come from that side. On Saturday Ki indicated that Colback should mark someone. Colback totally ignored him, the ball went to that player, who whipped it into the box. Pathetic.
Roll on Dossena.

{Ed024's Note - He's not in the running - Short could be cooling his interest in Poyet - he could go British which would mean Maclaren or Pullis }

Stuart Pearce odds cut now one of the favourite for the job:
Gus Poyet is now 2/1
René Meulensteen 6/1
Stuart Pearce 8/1
Kevin Ball 12/1
Steve McClaren 16/1
Gianfranco Zola 20/1
Murat Yakan 25/1
Ally McCoist 33/1
Tony Pulis 33/1
Paul Ince 40/1

Meulensteen would really excite me, especially when the same carousel of turdage is paraded whenever there is a vacancy. My only qualm would be his lack of experience. I know he is possibly one of the most revered coaches in professional football but, as we know, there is a difference between Coach and Head Coach/Manager. (Sbragia). If there's one thing that we've learned from the PDC era it's that, morale, encouragement and team spirit are invaluble. So when I hear of people spouting names like Reid and Pulis to save us I find it ultimately depressing. Is the best we can hope for really salvation after 5 games? Is 17th place finish really something to do backflips over? I thought the DiCanio revolution would be the cusp of a new era in our history but, like Keane before him, bullying, belligerence and stubbornness can't necessarily guarantee the best from your players. I was born in '74. I haven't seen a trophy in my lifetime. I look at teams like Swansea who have emerged from the brink of extinction to European success and think, "Why can't that be us?. " So rather than just stagnate, we should look at the bigger picture and take a gamble, especially this early in the season.

{Ed024's Note - I wouldn't do backflips but I'd take it over where we are now.}
Es will have to go British if he wants to keep the mutineers from the pirate ship clattermole on side.

Yes, according to newspapers the "senior" players would prefer a british manager. Well, what I would like to know is who is running this club?Hope whoever comes in get rid of Cattermole and his band of turncoats in the next window, they have messed about long enough now!

Might as well just make Cattermole manager then, Bardsley director of football, O'Shea CEO since they appear to be in charge.

I was one of the fans who posted on here about the clubs stats when Cattermole played and actually think he gives us that bit of bite in the centre of the park but did you watch him yesterday his passing was absolutely rubbish giving the ball away all to easy which meant the team getting put under to much pressure in my eyes to good for championship and his not good enough for premier.
