So! The Pdc revolution.

Did we not have the Roy Keane revolution, then the Steve Bruce revolution, then the Martin O'neil revolution.

In all of this every manager asked us to judge the team at the end of the season.

This league seems to be the hardest to survive in all of the years I have known it.

Football is not that complicated!

Summary. Every fan knows we have needed a left back for the last 3 years, every fan knows we have needed a smaller type of striker proven in the premiership to play of fletcher, whickham or now Altidore for the last 3 years and every fan knows we need a central midfielder to put his foot on the ball and be able to pass ( ie creative ).

Pdc has vocally asked for these 3 players and if we do not give him them then we cannot judge.

If we do not provide these players of proven quality we are in trouble. Again, this is not too complicated, empower your staff or suffer the consequenses.

Monday should be interesting.

Yet more negative gumph. Very frustrating Ed when the same people all summer were saying patience, best summer ever, this is amazing. The difference is di canio and the club now have a long term vision as well as short term and di canio is working intensely to enable his players to understand and develop his system. O'neill definitely did not do that and bruce I feel was a bit unlucky with certain things like losing all his strikers. This club is trying to do things a bit different and not bowing in to media pressure yet all we hear from our fans is negativity towards them. Win today and we are in mid table yet you'd think were rock bottom without a win in sight.

Agree5 Disagree2

PDC has been able to bring in 11 players, if you only needed 3 players then PDC should have got the players required for those positions, not got in 11 players and then asked for 3 more.

Agree1 Disagree0

The idea of bringing in 11 players is because the squad isn't big enough but I understand what you are saying why wait till a few days before the window shuts and we are still looking for our 3 main targets let's hope santa comes early lads

Agree1 Disagree0

We have bought some top class youngsters, remember whickham is still only 20 aswell, let's get off his back and get behind the team!

Agree2 Disagree0

I just love the fans that say this is the best Premier League Transfer Window in ages, PDC is great we will do really well.

Then we have a poor run of results and these so called 'fans' come and slate the team and the manager (wanting him sacked). If we keep sacking managers the club will go nowhere

Get behind the team and the revolution! Results will come

So there is an interest from a PL club for Sess
I wonder who???

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Newcastle fulham or west brom

Agree2 Disagree7

Tottenham seem to be signing everyone at the minute.

Agree6 Disagree1

We do not need your crap
NUFC SOS

Agree0 Disagree2

Sess tortured you at your place or do you want to not be reminded that we stuffed you 0-3!

looks like the deal to sign Ki Song-Yeung is almost done but got to admit that I was expecting someone a little better for the cm role

Believable6 Unbelievable1

93% success pass rate
I'm fine with that

Agree9 Disagree1

There's an option for Swansea to recall Ki in January. We wouldn't have agreed to it if we thought that we wouldn't realistically be in a position to let him go back then, if it transpired that they wanted him back sooner rather than later. My guess is that this one would be to tide us over until January, when we have our eye on a more permanent solution to the CM problem. Like PDC says, work in progress.

Agree5 Disagree0

Apparently he was the third in the passing league last season. Safc93

Agree5 Disagree1

Depends which way he's passing it. got colback to pass it sideways and backwards all game need someone who can pass forwards

Agree4 Disagree1

Y are we signing this type of player, is he any better than what we have?the lad can't get into the Swansea side, thought we could do better if not at least spend the wages somewhere else, any ideas ed or is this lad worth a chance.

Agree4 Disagree0

{Ed024's Note - I don't know a lot about him but I asked the Ed for Celtic and he says he's a cracking player and if Celtic didn't have an abundancde of MFs he would have been a regular for years with them. He doesn't give the ball away often and is very calm and composed on the ball. He won't be a superstar player but he will do a lot of the unnoticed work for the team. He was actually disappointed when he left Celtic. He can also ping a mean free-kick.}

He's a very tidy player and normally does pass forward
He can do quick one-twos with the wingers or forwards when he receives it then plays it straight into the space behind them to run onto
Or he can do super accurate 60 yard balls into the forwards feet

Agree3 Disagree0

He's very underrated
He is just like Carrick

Agree4 Disagree1

Ki not the creative player we need more defensive minded. Not good enough pdc. Still need striker creative cm and lb or we we'll struggle. Everybody has vastly improved their squads apart from Newcastle. Yes we have brought in numbers but other than giaccherini non are of PL standard (yet) no good building for future if we can't survive now

The young Senegalese left back M'Bengue just left Toulouse and signed for Rennes (sky sports).
Looks like the left back saga just drags on and on.

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Where does it say that?

Heard we are after nocerino from ac Milan have u heard anything ed?

Believable4 Unbelievable4

{Ed024's Note - We were credited with showing interest in him in mid June, maybe we've gone back for a second look ?}

Doesn't he play first team football though? Can't see what would make him interested.

Agree3 Disagree1

Milan need to sell so they can afford kakas wages.

Just read in two separate rumour sights that a team in the EPL has confirmed an interest in Sessegnon. Brilliant if it sparks a bidding war, however would we sell to another prem team?

Believable4 Unbelievable3

And why not?RAW74

Agree0 Disagree1

For the right price yes

Agree0 Disagree1

Wot sites are these then?

Agree3 Disagree0

Arsenal are desperate to sign someone and have shown interest in the past.

Di Fanti has just been in the Ramside having lunch with a youngish lad with a Scottish accent. Any ideas Ed?

Believable1 Unbelievable3

{Ed024's Note - If there wasn't an agent present then don't get excited.}

Ryan Gauld? dundee youth we have been linked

Agree6 Disagree0

{Ed024's Note - With the greatest respect to Ryan Gauld I would hope that Di Fanti has bigger fish to fry.}

Steven fletcher?

Agree5 Disagree0

{Ed024's Note - Youngish lad ? Have you seens Fletchers beard - he looks about 40 ?}

Sessegnon on his way for 5 mil, ji on loan to freiburg and mandron on loan to oldam. Cuellar also attracting interest in spain. definate in is De ceglie and possible ins are: kovacic, sigurdsson and a striker sow but iv also heard rumours of a unamed move for a striker who plays in ligue 1 any suggestions who that could be?

Believable6 Unbelievable8

Spurs will keep sigurdsson

Agree8 Disagree5

Bakary Sako

Agree1 Disagree8

{Ed024's Note - Is he a decent replacement for Sess ?}

Spurs have stated they will listen to offers for Sigurdsson as Erikson is about to sign

Agree8 Disagree2

Pure crap - sow won't come and no way he will let 3 strikers go

Agree6 Disagree0

Theyve also stated theyd let lewis holtby on loan, as well as sigurdsson, although there's no confirmation from the quatari side of a fee agreed. Personally I think sees should be given the chance and not played upfront he should be played as an attacking midfield with 2 strikers upfront, I think you'd find he'd benefit from that. He played really well when di canio came in and has the quality to get past players which is what we need

Agree2 Disagree6

Although I don't think it'll happen, sigurdson would be tremendous, I really rate him

Agree6 Disagree4

Di canio, has left sessegnon out of today's squad after the drinking incident

Believable10 Unbelievable2

Drink drivers should get 10 years jail time minimum. Don't care who he is. That's coming from a Sess fan.

Agree9 Disagree4

Well its fair enough to address the situation and for him to accept the punishment. I'm sure his family are disappointed enough at him, but you need to get to the bottom of it if he stays and find out why he did it and what the problem was to work through it and get him happy again so he can play the way we know he can. If you keep him happy he'll be lethal
