Yeah but is Whickham on his way out of the SOL? Would be great to see a new striker or strikers signed . Wonder if Borini's lass likes the shops better in Liverpool?

Gus was saying tonite he was holding back on another striker in the hope that Borini would sign sure that's being niave!. we still havnt sorted the Whickam contract out so he needs to bring in another striker soon!

I see Giacherini has a groin strain and may miss the opening match of the season!. we need a bigger squad to absorb these injuries!

Interesting - I just checked out the Liverpol FC website and the Liverpool FC section of News Now (which aggregates reports from all sources) and there is no mention of Borini anywhere. Its like he has disappeared or doesn't exist. what's going on?

Perhaps he is at Seaham Hall lol!. I see Vergini has signed for a season loan pity its not permanent!

Borini will sign within 48 hours which has been reported on the Liverpool news now in the last hour

One website which is called lfc day trippers says borini is to have a medical, don't know if this is an old article or how they have found out this news before any other news source but acc to them he's on the brink of joining us

Ed Vergini was outstanding for us when he was switched to right back but like Altidore and Roberge who I think both will do a good job this season its an important few months of their Sunderland careers! Time will tell!

Poyet sees him as ideal short-term creative player we need.
Player wants a try at Premier League before he retires.

Would be great but maybe the Rodwell signing was the surprise? But imagine the shirt sales with RONALDINHO on the back! 

The Almighty might struggle to get a work permit. Don't think he's played enough recent internationals. The last thing we need is another Ji situation.

Joking aside, even if the ronaldinho rumour is true, which I doubt it is, he would probably struggle to get a work permit too, and all other sources say he's going to the MLS anyway.

Need to get rid of fletcher while we can still get money for him, too injury prone and won't score week in week out

I personally would like to exercise my right to opinion here. this guy is my all time disgusting player. in my opinion he falls somewhere between alan shearer and that white stuff that forms at the side of your mouth when your really thirsty. I also know that mr short is aware that a massive percentage of SAFC fans feel the same. he will therefore not be signing!!
