Euro 2012 about to start. no good manager would even be thinking about buying players yet. lots of talent will be on show on tv, plus no good buying rooney and then he breaks his leg on monday. looking forward to oniells signings tho, best manager sunderland have had since reid (and topper chairman instead of bob murray) FTM

That means the players who do well will cost more and a big budget you aint got...

O'neil won't buy from the euros because he wants players that play well every week for their clubs not someone that has three good games at the euros! Money has nothing to do with it..

We need a finisher, a new Kevin Phillips. The lad at Celtic seems canny!

I would have darren bent back. he only left cos he had got dropped for world cup and had better chance playing for a club capello did watch . gyan left for cash, bent left to play for england. ftm

As to aiden or adam johnson im not overlly bothered as i think the people we have playing on our wings are fairly decent. but i would choose johnson simply because he's on the skirtings of england. and he's going to want to play and play well to make sure his name is on the team sheet for the world cup. really really dont want to see gabby agbong at the SOL he's done nothing at villa for a very long time now. and i imagine he would be very over priced.
personally we all keep talking about strikers but i think we need to strengthen the defence a little more as well! but id love to see someone nobodys heard of before, because lets be honest not many of us had heard about Gyan or Sess or even Cisse who we were linked with before Newcastle captured him. but i think a main priority is to keep sess he carried us a lot last year as did larson in my opinion, and mclean is coming through nicely. but if i was choosing a striker that i do know i would be intrested in a potential loan deal for chelseas lukuka it might not solve the problem but it will give us more time to shape up!

I think the young lad from city john guidetti who scored something like 22 in 25 games on loan at feyenoord last season would do well or kenwyne jones back for the crosses we put in . he wont have to chase balls all over the place now

Bent left as he did not want to be there its that simple...

Bent loved it at sunderland he left as he fell out with bruce because he was having a relationship with bruces daughter 100% true!! the problem why sunderland lost 3 good forwards was bruce!

The reason sunderland had 3 good forwards was Bruce, give him some credit he was generally good in the transfer market

Yes he brought them in but he was also the reason they left
