I see JI is off to Borussia Dortmund in Janurray apparently a deal has been done! that's a shame I think Ji hasn't been giving much of a chance lately paticulally in light of our misfiring strikers same goes with Cabral and Diakite. its always the new managers perogative but I feel we are losing a good striker in fact Gus need s to sort out a lot of contracts running out at the end of season otherwise well end up giving good players away for nothing!

It appears ToonMatt is also deluded in his english language capabilities. Just because a player is not performing in England does not mean he cannot perform in different systems/leagues. Ji clearly has technical ability and it is common knowledge sunderland turned down a 5m bid in the summer from BVB. He is simply too lightweight for the EPL, I have also heard that BVB want him in january as his contract expires in the summer and it will be very cheap for them.

Ji did alright in his time in Germany last season so I can see why Dortmund want him just because he struggles in one country doesn't mean he can't do it in another. prime example jon dahl tomasson

Not silly! a lot of the German clubs are interested in JI and we could use the money to buy another decent striker as the present lot couldn't hit a barn door from 10 yards!
