Its that time. It's nearly Transfer Window shenanigans again!
Ok so we're set to offer Modibo Diakite plus cash to Fiorentina in exchange for Marcos Alonso.
1.) Carlos Cuellar looks set to be off.
Cattermole might be given a new contract to keep Stoke away.
Colback. who knows.
Giaccherini I think will stay personally.
Danny Graham to Middlesbrough permanently.
Borini I'd love to see him play for us next season but I think Brendan Rogers needs him due to Champions League and he will need numbers and strength in depth.
Vergini looks like he will be back here permanently.
Larsson doesn't want to leave but isn't ruling out a move away.
The rest I don't know! Any updates on player situations?
2.) Sunderland Echo is saying Gardner, Cuellar and Dossena are gone. With Ki and Borini gone, hopefuly we'll keep Vergini, as a right back he's been good.
3.) Also I read at Sport Witness that we're after Wisla Krakow defender Gordon Bunoza.
4.) UPDATE : Gardner looks set to be at West Brom next season by signing as a free transfer.

Sunderland set to sign Scocco after 3 million fee is agreed. Also Phil Bardsley is set to land new deal
1.) Barsdley deserves a new deal. the fans that booed him during the Di Ca anio saga should hang their heads in shame!. he always gives 110% and wears the shirt with pride which some other players don't!
2.) Bob mate no doubt bardsley deserves a 2nd chance but the guy actually gloated at the players the club and the fans when we got beat off Fulham by posting messages no wonder there are fans out there who don't applaud him and a lot who booed him

As below Sunderland are after Argentinian International Ever Banega. Also Colback is close to signing a new deal.
We have also enquired about Fulham's Derek Boateng.
Thoughts?
{Ed024's Note - Not sure about Boateng, Banega is untried in EPL - lets concentrate getting Colback signed.}

The bid for De Ceglie has stalled, De Ceglie prefers to stay in Turin.
It is believed we're after a ligue 1 player by the name of Cheikh M'Bengue.
Thoughts?
1.) Real Madrid have agreed a fee of 93m for Gareth Bale aswell as Fabio Coentrao going to Tottenham, the deal should be completed in the next 24 hours
In a rescent interview Danny Rose said he is not sitting on the bench for another season, he very much loved his time with us and enjoyed playing for us every week, he wants to get settled and will not be messing round with any Loans, Coentrao is highly probable to take that LB position so I think our chances of getting him are stronger than ever now!
2.) Think i'd rather have cheikh mainly because he is better defensively than de ceglie. they both good good players and are both attacking but like I say cheikh is abit better all round
3.) He is fast seems to have a good touch and a deft tackle. Could do a good job I think.
4.) To my post two up I was comparing de ceglie and cheikh not rose lol
5.) Yes, my thought is that we should forget about them two and go for Rose, a player who loved to play for us, isn't a risk and prefers to play his best to ensure he gets fist team rather than play for the money

Hello again, Emanuele Giaccherini admits he does want to stay in the Premier League next season but does not know if he will be at Sunderland.
He is yet to have showdown talks with Gus Poyet soon.
Should we keep him?
1.) Yeh, showed his best form in the formation Poyet is most comfortable with, think he'll have more opportunities. Problem with him playing is his size, were not a tall midfield really unless we keep N'Diaye who would have seen us comfortably into a Champions League slot.
2.) Heard Poyet does not want N'Daiye back. a mistake in my eyes as I thought he was good

What should we do about N'diaye at the end of his loan spell at Real Betis?
1.) I hope he comes back and gets a shot, he did well considering how badly we were playing at the time. He's also very vocal of his support whenever we do well, which I like.
2.) I'd like to see him back. MotM in his first game for Betis and their first win since September.
