Anyone heard any news on transfers? I know there's still time but poyet did say he wanted his transfers done early.
1.) We finally signed Vergini at least, now hopefully they'll have time to look for players where we desperately need them.
2.) Vergini has eventually signed. we were also after a Portugese winger called Bhurma highly rated the deal was sealed another loan deal but he damaged knee ligaments and the deal is off. typical of our luck this season!

I heard the peruzzi deal was back, well I saw some reports today. Can anyone clear this up for me?
1.) Hope not, we cannot afford to take ANY risks with players who have dubious injury records!

2.) I think the club are waiting for his rehibiitation. at his last club . and then they will give him a third medical but dunno when that will be!
3.) May have to wait a month to find out
4.) Injury is a bad one. Wont be signing any time soon. SAFC have given Peruzzi a fitness regime to do back sat his club Velez Sarsfield. JC Fulwell
5.) After the rubbish players we have signed in the past for millions I really don't think 3million for a 22yr old Argentinian international with a slight injury is a risk.

8.) Never heard it was a bad injury, he only missed 3 games, and played in the remaining fixtures, including their cup final, apparently doing rehab at the request of safc. , with a few to a further medical, in a few weeks time

Don't know about any one els but I really can't wait to see fletcher and altidore up front together, deadly duo!
Any news on peruzzi? I've seen people last night saying he turned us down because we didn't offer any money. i'd have peruzzi over this lazio defender personally!
