seems that Gus hasn't got much money to spend ?. itll be interesting whether Short backs him in the transfer market as we desperately need at least 2 strikers !
2.) It is not good to bring many players in, in January. We desparately need someone to score goals. We should break the bank to get a striker (not Borini) - Long is not getting games for Southampton is quick and scores in Premier - may be worth a punt. Rodellega was good at Wigan, but not at Fulham. Campbell or Sanogo from Arsenal worth a go.
3.) It's interesting that you rule out the one who scored goals for us. Long has scored 2 in 15 appearances for an attack minded Southampton, Sonogo hasn't scored goals in an Arsenal side, Campbell is unproven in the Premier League and Rodallega is hardly prolific.
