have heard that sunderland are close to Jack Rodwell on loan from Manchester City still only 23 years old I think he will be a good signing opinions?
1.) I'd rather we buy him now while he'll be cheapish because if he shows his potential again like when he was at everton, we would never afford to buy him (unless there is an option to buy)

Agree about signing rather than loan deals after we have been burned in the past . supporters are worried about the lack of ambition and activity in the transfer market with pre season training ongoing!. Fulham just splashed £11million on a striker to get them back into the premiership!. and S. Bruce has signed some quality players at a small club like Hull!.we need to show ambition and for Short to release the purse strings otherwise we are going to struggle this season!

I see we are looking at a Nigerian midfielder Babatunde!. mind he broke his wrist at the World cup so again hell be out for a while!
4.) I wouldn't buy him as he is a risk. He's not played a lot of football recently and for a 23-year old he looks like he could be blighted with injuries looking at he amount of time he's missed already.
I think a loan is right but the addition of an option to buy would make sense in case the fears are not realised.

Just because other teams are spending silly money there's no need for us to panic. 11m for McCormick is well over the odds but he's proven in the Championship so if he gets them promoted it will be a shrewd move. As far as Hull are concerned they've signed Snodgrass but in true Brucey style they've paid top dollar plus a bit and Tom Ince has been hawked all around Europe by his old man. Yey to be convinced by him personally

I don't think anything will come of the sow rumour as they want us to pay his release clause of 13.8m I also don't think anything will come of mutch but I think we will put in a bid for Alonso however they don't want diakite anymore
