Can't believe we would sign another 34 yr old- it would give us three CBs totaling more than 100 between them! Even Dawson, approaching 31, is pushing it, though he would definitely strengthen team over next couple of years. But we should be looking at someone we can build the defence round for several years- like Richards. Even then we should be pushing for Byram or to get Alonso, back as we have only five defenders worth a place in a premiership squad and we need seven or eight. Though not their main positions, Gardner and Colback were often called on to help out, so losing them as well as Bardsley and Alonso means we have four options less in what was makeshift defence to begin with. If something is not done quickly the back four will cost us another season struggling in the Premier basement

So it looks like we've finally given up on Borini, it's a big shame but there is plenty of other players we can but that 14m towards

Lennon is a possible option and has the pace Gus is looking for but his final ball is terrible.

Nani - Shhhe at Manchester United so keep away
Hernandez - Very poor striker made to look good when Manchester United were playing well so keep away as well.
We should be concentrating more on the defence at this moment in time as Saturday highlighted how very thin and poor our squad is in that area!
As for all the fans slagging off the club, back off and let them try to do their jobs. We have a wage structure to stick to, FFP to consider, and no bright lights like London to attract the foreign stars. The likes of Mutch going to QPR will be down to higher wages they offer.

Roumors are SAFC are set to sign Dawson and Demble this week on permentent deals. Borini deal is still in limbo but would expect him to sign before the window shuts. Any other deals I can see been loan deals from abroad.

This. FFP rule is grap QPR. 65 mil in debt WHY NO SANCTIONS?? May be find 50 mil in 2015 so have they broke the rules? Or not if they broke the rules in 2013 why wait until 2015? Looks a load of shhhhit m8 see what debt they are in next season may be more fines in 2017 lol
