As well as Duncan we've enquired about youngsters Mbaye and Bessel of Inter Milan. Mbaye is a Senalgalese defender and a Bessel is a Brazilian attacking Midfielder / striker!

ED is Duncan from inter coming to us or is he going to a different club or staying put? {Ed024's Note - Sunderland wont match Inter Milan's valuation so the deal is off, unless Milan reduce their price £6.5m euros.}

The deal isn't off. Sunderland have had officials in milan today to thrash out deal not just for duncan but for ibrahima mbaye aswell. that's the news coming out the italian media

Personally with all these centre midfield players where getting and being linked with I think PDC is going to adopt the 4-3-3 formation exciting times if this is the case craigsafc

I don't see any point in guessing formations or Starting line ups as New players will be linked every week and will cool our interest in other potential targets, eg. Parker. I know it's just a bit of banter but that's just my opinion

Bit banter all good am just looking forward to the new season

We will play 4-3-3. fletcher up front as the fulcrum. Johnson on 1 wing A. and other on the other. 2 holding midfielders and a creative force in front of them either a dribbler or someone of huddlestones calibre to spray the ball about. mark my words. and 2 full backs with energy and pace to burn to get up the field, then the holding midfielders will sit back and protect the 2 centre halves
