{Ed002's Note - I explained before that we will be moving to only accepting posts from registered/signed up posters on the Sunderland page. You now have 10 days notice until we pull the plug on unregistered posts entirely.}

Why can't unregistered people posts

{Ed024's Note - If everyone is registered it helps prevent the abusive posts. Posters are much less likely to post crap if they are registered. Its worked well on other teams sites.}

2.) 12 Oct 2013
Why are you doing this, what harm is it doing, just because your not registered, does it really matter as long as the posts are not abusive just simply offering an opinion.

{Ed024's Note - You've hit the nail on the head - too many of the unregistered posts are abusive and just get deleted - I would say that 90% of the posts I delete are from unregistered posters.}

3.) 12 Oct 2013
Does that mean no more Mags on here ed?

{Ed024's Note - Definitely not - everyone has an opinion but hopefully it will end the boring 'we're better cos of 5-1' 'No we're better cos of 0-3' 'No we have more fans than you' etc etc etc - I delete a lot of boring posts like that.}

Hi Ed, whilst I agree in principle with registering ie what you say is true with regards to stopping the boring banter, abuse and people pretending to be fans of rival clubs etc. also people unregistered are more likely to do the above but they sometimes add to the fun SOMETIMES.

Now I started the post about meeting cattermole and johnson in a pub in yarm about a month ago now a week before dicanio was sacked, telling you hhow they hated dicanio etc. I'm sure you agree it started a great debate and was an interesting post. I only posted it here because it was quick, easy and I didn't need to register. I also for the beggining wanted to be anonymous because although it was the truth I didn't want a libel case against me. You got inside info on a premiership club that no other site got. You got that info because of how this site is in regards to unregistered posters.

Be careful not to cut your nose off to spite your own face.

What makes this site interesting and unique is you don't have to register. If you have to register your competing with other sites and people may just choose them.

{Ed002's Note - The site is moving to requiring registration like we are doing with many of the others. If you don't want to register I can simply block you now if that will stop you whining. Let me know what you want.}

What harm is there to register

6.) 13 Oct 2013
A little harsh Ed002. To the poster above if you register with a nickname or similar your still pretty much anonymous. }

7.) 14 Oct 2013
Totally agree with some of the comments and thought the eds response was a bit harsh but I have registered if I had to use my own name I don't think I would as I also get some decent inside info from inside the club but I enjoy the crack and I just hope having to register doesn't bar us from going on other teams pages as I get some good banter from different supporters.

{Ed024's Note - Registering will not stop you going on other teams pages.}

Have a feeling there's going to be a lot of players and managers as names in these posts lol

9.) 15 Oct 2013
Whatever gives you that impression bob?

10.) 15 Oct 2013
Can`t see that somehow

I think he means what people call themselves, not players and managers actually on here haha
