Just heard that dortmund will co-own Ji on July 1st he will join on a free transfer but will stay with Augsburg

Yeah i'm the same tbh however correct me if i'm wrong but it sounds like we have lost out with money when looking back on when we rejected the 5 mil bid from dortmund in the summer now he's probably gone for about 1 mil maybe 1. 5. does anybody want to shed some light on this?

Seems Dortmund gave them the money to buy him & then with the deal of letting him play there till the summer they then get him for "free" and with no sell on clause.

Sounds rather underhand myself!. mind it asks the question whether some (not all ) of our players nearing out of contract should have been given extensions before they entered their last year!. what's happening to Bardsley /. ? if we don't give him a contract now some lucky club will snap him for nothing in the summer!

Happens a lot in Europe something similar to what Chelsea and Manchester United are doing bringing players in and then loaning them to feeder clubs Chelsea paid a couple of million for that de bruyn only paid half a dozen games and sold him for 16 mill good business
