Reports saying we have made a move for the celtic forward (and Greek international) Georgios Samaras. We are apparently working out terms with him.

If he's good then could be a very useful signing as he can also apparently play on the left wing, a place were we do not have a specialist only Borini who I believe would be better than Alti and Fletch up front. J

Ive heard we are very close to signing Scooco for £4 million. its a complicated transfer similar to the Vergini one where 2 seperate parties are owed part of the transfer fee!. good signing paticularly if Samaras could sign aswell. we need strikers!

After the inept performance against mighty Kidderminster which proved we have no cutting edge I hope Gus is prioritising a striker or 2!. its all very well playing neat pretty football but only scoring goals will keep us up!. and we need to play 2 up front paticullay against the lesser teams at home starting against Stoke on Wednesday!
