Do you really think Wickham would have made any difference whatsoever? At the moment we are going into the next season with 2 new signings. Yes TWO! And the same forward line more or less. Bye bye premier league. At least Wickham will be playing at the correct level next season.

Jordan Rhodes and moussa sow are being lined up as a replacement to him. Sow will get you 10-15 goals a season can play left wing and striker. Rhodes unproven in the prem but a goal machine in the championship. At the same time Blackburn have just let gustede go so would be a high price for Rhodes. Would still be in the market for that creative midfielder and if we can get Buckley off the books if frees up a lot of wages.
