Jordan Rhodes and moussa sow are being lined up as a replacement to him. Sow will get you 10-15 goals a season can play left wing and striker. Rhodes unproven in the prem but a goal machine in the championship. At the same time Blackburn have just let gustede go so would be a high price for Rhodes. Would still be in the market for that creative midfielder and if we can get Buckley off the books if frees up a lot of wages.

Seems a little far fetched paying 2mill with no option to buy and paying his wages in full. Granted he did well at west ham but it's going to be down to weather he would even want to come

There are only really 3 or 4 players we should bring in. Mohamed Salah or atsu on loan with both being linked. Van Djik would be a big one for us. We may have the edge on signing him over others as he's not played pre football and its a massive gamble for an expensive player. Finally its the case of borini or ings. Ins contract runs out in the summer and doesn't look like he'll be extending either. If we can loan or even sell altidore then that would have to go towards that. Bornini should only be considered at a reduced fee from what we offered due to his form at liverpool. I also think the word should be sounded out for mavrias to go on loan to a championship club to gain so playing time and english football experience

Mattia Destro has been told by roma to find another club and its said that they're after around 15 million. If we could sell altidore or even loan him out for the rest of the season it would definitely be worth a shot and show some real intent.
