See Martin Atkinson strikes again how can a self confessed newcastle fan referee a newcastle match and cheat them to a win when they were clearly second best in the first half before the sending offs. Same as he cheated us against Norwich.

For once I agree. Anyway as for being "self-confessed Newcastle fan" can you actually prove that to be FACT?
If he was a "self confessed Newcastle fan" he wouldn't have been appointed to last season's derby at SOL nor would he have sent off Tiote in the same game.
Each referee has to sign a legally binding form to reveal which [if any] club he or a direct member of his family support. He would hardly want to publicise such a fact. Thereafter he is not allowed any direct or indirect appointment to that club.
Mark Clattenburg is a self-confessed NUFC fan and for that reason he never referees a match of theirs or involving Sunderland for reasons of integrity.
Sad that you must lower yourself to question the integrity of a referee, and having been to the Norwich game myself I cannot think of anything Martin Atkinson got particularly wrong.

If you were at the Norwich game you must have fallen asleep as it was that bad. But you must of noticed the blatant persistent fouling in midfield by fer who was never given a yellow card to stop this but just let it go on the whole game but booked our player for one foul
