my best game as a sunderland fan i can remember 10,000 sunderland fans marching from sjp to trains and coaches not a mag in sight and all you could here echoing round the streets was one gary rowell

Gary is best loved for scoring a hat-trick for Sunderland in a 4-1 win away at local rivals Newcastle United on 24 February 1979. Describing the match later, he said "When we hit the 4th I had a chat with Kevin Arnott about whether to try for a fifth or just to take the piss. We decided to take the piss."

worst game
the 1977 relegation fiasco i was at everton don't think it would ever happen again
anyone got good and bad memories of their times following north easts no 1s

Believable0 Unbelievable0

And you tell the mags not to live in the past

Agree0 Disagree0

Quiet time on here at the moment need something to crack on about instead of making silly rumours up but there again if ye stopped on ye own page ye would be able to read all the fantasy and s**te of who ye not gonna sign erdinc gervino drogba sturridge long bedtner nzogbia

Agree0 Disagree0

Comes to some thing when his best memory as a makem is 32 years you smb, s

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont think the Muckems have EVER sold out at St James Park so 10,000? Wake up sonny, your breakfast is ready and school beckons

Agree0 Disagree0

At least the history we mention is only ten to 15 year ago not in the 70s. ha ha shows how good you been since then

Agree0 Disagree0

Been following sunderland for 40 years looking at your replys ye jumped on the band wagon when keegan rolled up sad geordie b******s who did ye like before that liverpool or man utd ye most probably never been to sid james park just sat in ye armchairs pulling teams down and telling everyone ye support ye team a supporter is someone who goes to the games people like you who don't go just like newcastle sgbs

Agree0 Disagree0

So how do you explain how our gates have always been higher than yours. 10,000 at SJP, it would take you 3 derbies to do that even back in the day. Always in our shadow ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Point i must admit been a makem and ticket holder and regular in the players lounge since dichio was there there are tomany supporters who have season tickets and once they get to the pub on match day would rather get p***** than go to the game. and when we are playing bad you, s just don't turn up i at least turn up win lose or draw.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow, you're over 40 and you still can't speak English?

Agree0 Disagree0

Can remember when only 7,000 turned out for a league game at home to wrexham in the late 70s don't tell us sjp has always been full where were you when you were s**te forgot that was before kk turned up

Agree0 Disagree0

Gates have always been higher at St Shame's? Have a look at the attendance the HOME MATCH BEFORE Keegan took over. There must have been something in the Greggs that week

Agree0 Disagree0

Bet there was nothing in roker park tho SOL always empty cos the fans are plastic the few there is that goes show they true supporters and are the ones who don't spout about how great a team they have they will agrre when they done bad and love it when they did well but most of the people sitting typing on ere don't have a clue about matchdays apart from what time MOTD starts

Whats our wage cap?/

Believable2 Unbelievable0

£5 a week.

Agree0 Disagree0

£50,000 I think, more than screwcastles whose is £1

Agree0 Disagree0

How childish?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha, keep paying high wages for average players, newcastle are in much better shape financialy than you lot, what is it 80%of turn over goes on wages. .thats a recipe for disaster, just ask some portsmouth fans {Ed016's Note - It is the same problem with every team almost 80% of everyones turn over goes to there wages it isn't just one team}

Agree0 Disagree0

When we sign a player ashley pays all money upfront you lot chucky yours on bit like provi. .big sponsering club tombola ha ha ha smb

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats why yous don't buy anybody

Agree0 Disagree0

You don't have to buy in the first weeks of the market Common sense should state more players become available and the prices come down the closer to the end of the window Panic buying is not the way As a mag i can hold my hands up and say we have done it in the past but are learning from our mistakes Watch me be proved right This is no dig just stating why you don't ahve to but staright away You don't buy a car as soon as you see it you wanna hear it and drive it

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you not think bruce has driven and heard of the players ( as you put it ) hes brought in theres no panic buys just hard work and a lot of support from your chairman and owner something yous don't get

Agree0 Disagree0

£35m Carroll and £50m Torres and your saying the price of players comes down nearer to the end of the transfer window? are you for real? tell you what, you keep talking about transfers while we get the players in and give them a proper preseason

Dames :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Torres and carrol were panic buys and had to pay inflated fees for them cos there was no other players available who would match them so you had to pay what the selling club wanted Yes they were at end of window but that evades the point of panic buying

I think it is absolutley ridiculos that the wear tyne derby is not on sky sports, in stead they show s**te games like fulham vs blackburn when they can have a top class derby game instead its always nice to come home and watch the match over again when you have recorded it on sky plus, sky sports needs to sort it out

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Its a f***ing disgracem it may not be the biggest derby in terms of club size but its by far and away the most passionate

{Ed031's Note - In one's own opinion, personally I think the Edinburgh Derby is the most passionate, but there you go.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Na not a chance they play eachother like 4 times a season sunderland vs newcastle or newcastle vs sunderland the atmosphere at both stadiums is electric and unbeatable.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totaly shockin the 2 biggest clubs in the NE have been mugged off by sky sports yet again.

Agree0 Disagree0

Blackburn shouldn't be allowed to have any games shown on TV on account of how boring and s**t they are.

Agree0 Disagree0

If it was at sports direct it would have defiantly been on sky sports
