Ed is probably a talking horse and not some kind of oracle, he knows know more than anyone who can read a newspaper or listens to radio, tv and internet access is obvious as your on tinter web, what are chances of getting Wigan keeper probs a 50-50 answer, Parker please no, colback is a better option, if you have players looking for forward pass he will deliver, Parker is a Crab in every team he plays in, Colback is better player than many fans give credit, he has played LB, LW, RW, RB, CM. he gets blasted off fans saying he can't play with both feet and can't score goals in a team that finished 4th bottom. How many goals have Parker, M Carrick, scored in their careers. {Ed024's Note - I'm just off for a canter round the paddock.}

You will need to be careful if we beat the mags at sid james next season ed!

Agree0 Disagree0

Why the long face

Agree0 Disagree0

Parker isn't the answer!

Agree0 Disagree0

So long as things are 'stable'

Agree0 Disagree0

My 'Mane' concern is the manager is backed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wish people would stop getting so GIDDY and UPset.

Agree0 Disagree0

The Ed is a ful l"FURLONG" ahead of the rest whether comments are genuine

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok nay more puns please, that horse has bolted
Lm86

Agree0 Disagree0

Come on now folks, stop acting the foal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Loved all then jokes

Agree0 Disagree0

Why the long face is a joke of Shrek 2!. lol. you lot must have been eaten too much horse meat!

Agree0 Disagree0

Think G0rdi3s should just "TROT" Along and punch a horse or something

Agree0 Disagree0

These jokes r a bit childish I'm a bit to long in the Thoof for them lol. love it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Okay every one there is no need for this sort of horse play

Agree0 Disagree0

The year of the horse is next year!

Agree0 Disagree0

Id say eds impact on this page has been similar to that of jurgen klip-klopp at Dortmund.
Lm86

Agree0 Disagree0

i liked catts at the start but now i'm just sick of the sight of him after all he hardly ever plays but when he does he only passes the ball sideways and is down on the ground holding his knee replacing him with scotty parker will defo put the club in the right direction for future success

Believable0 Unbelievable0

In his prime Parker was just another average run off the mill English midfield (no pace, 5/10 yard side and back passes) have we not learned anything about buying ageing crock's (brown, saha) just out for one last pay day please tell me if I'm wrong but how about buying hungry younger player's with something to prove even if we only get 2/3 years out of them before selling them on and making a profit paker's attribute's are the same as Larsson's

Agree0 Disagree0

Baring in mind Parker only passes sideways and has just as much injury problems as catts

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we should stick with Catts

Our results are proven to be better when he's in the team

Agree0 Disagree0

How can you be sick of the site of him, if he never hardly plays, and you liked him when he played at the start ?

I see Newcastle have just appointed Joe Kinnear as their new director of football!
Big club visionaries I say - lol

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I thought the pantomine season had ended!. at newcastle its 365 days a year pantomine!

Kinnear director of football at Newcastle? Just when you thought Mike Ashley had become a bit more sensible.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Agent Kinnear back to work.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes it just gets better and better at Sid James Park, Ashley, Pardew, and now Kinnear also known as The 3 Stoogies. Along with The Keystone Cops in defence, this coming season should be hilarious. Chris-s.

Agree0 Disagree0

You lot worry about your crackpot manager and let us worry about our crackpot owner.

Agree0 Disagree0

We're only JOKINGEAR, lol, get a sense of humour you mags!

Agree0 Disagree0

Kinnear has got more charisma in his sock drawer than Di Canio. {Ed024's Note - I'm assuming that's joke}

Agree0 Disagree0

Congratulations, the charisma post is the daftest post yet from a jawdee.

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard the G0rdi3s are not FORKINEAR!

a lot of posts on here saying people like graham bardsley mclean gardener sess are on their way. in my opinion unless any of these players want to go or we get an offer we can't turn down which seems highly unlikely they will be here next season. we all know that anyone of these players on their day are good players but for some reason under mon their form dipped or almost faded away under a resurgent pdc with his training methods these lads can return to some of the better form that we used to see. bardsley was regarded as one of our best players till mon came along with mclean who was outstanding till a certain steve guppy got his hands on him. gardener with his aggressive play to me was outstanding in the middle some of his passing was top notch and was also versatile dropping into defence. as for graham its hard to knock his commitment last season run his socks off held the ball up well just needed the players to feed off him and a goal to get his confidence. will do well but only concern is I don't think he can link up with fletch would be better off with sess who I have left till last where could we sign someone like sess for the money we would get for him (now 29 so would be lucky to get 4mill) we started to see the sess we know when pdc came in he is one of those frustrating players who on his day is as good as anyone in the premiership and hopefully if he stays we will see the sess we all know. finally if we move on a load of our first squad with the experience they have and rely on all the young talent we are trying to get in from the continent it could all go tits up. so its my opinion like we all have on here is to keep the players we have bring in the few bosmans that we have done to bolster the squad along with a couple of big name players to make us a bigger and better squad. some will agree and some won't what do you think ed

one gary rowell {Ed024's Note - Hard to disagree with most of what you say - but I think given the comments made by PDC it will be the players he thinks have poor attitude/work ethic that will get moved on.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Sunderland want around 8mil for Sess and Marseille are willing to pay around that amount

Agree0 Disagree0

Although a fan of sess you are on cuckoo land if you think anyone will pay 8 mill for him

So after the big reveal of the shocking new away kit, what has been anyones favorite shirt from recent years. I was quite partial to the cream and maroon effort a couple years ago. Opinions?
Lm86

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The new away kit isn't that bad!

Agree0 Disagree0

91-92 season away shirt, still got mine Vaux a bit washed out but I still wear it

Agree0 Disagree0

New away kit is lush it's a change from the usual navy white or blue ill be straight there buying it on the 27th

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed, the new strips good!

Agree0 Disagree0

Think the new kit is great, but I also like the kit from 2011/12 the sky blue with 1 whit stripe across. Nice kits. Very loud.

Agree0 Disagree0

A few years ago the striped inter milan one! mind we didn't play like inter milan wearing it lol!

Agree0 Disagree0

They can play in bin bags for me. I prefer the performances of players rather than a strip Fat fans spend their dole on then watch in pub,

Agree0 Disagree0

Yellow and blue hummel ones were lush in my eyes!

Looks like Parker is heading our way, let's hope Rose and Defoe follow him

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Parker left Newcastle because he could not settle in the North East.

It will not happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would anyone want parker, he is a good player in a top side, as he can play his game, we already have a young player called J Collback, who is a very good tidy footballer. Why pay silly money in wages for a injury prone player who is not going improve our team, buy players that want the ball and JC will pass forward, the reason fans have a go at JC is because he had the ball so much and never wasted it, it was the player he passed too, but a lot of fans don't understand this and expect exciting football and blame the player who has most possession during games if we lose. I think PDC has a similar view of JC, and if we can sign players that understand the game like JC. The results will improve and PDC will applaud JC and the fans (sheep) will accept JC as a good player. I bet if any fan asked Sir alex fergie about JC as a player he would agree, i'm not saying Manchester United want him, this about SAFC 4th bottom, If we had 11 players who gave the effort and understood their own position and game plan as JC, we would be a top 10 side, and PDC knows this, ask him I did and Ellis Short after Southampton game, he is the type of player the club and PDC want, please read between the lines here (incase some ED the speaking horse gets above himself) {Ed024's Note - Above myself, am I a small horse then ?}

Don't want to see gardner leave. He was one of few that showed any passion and drive when we weren't having the best of times! Plus he gets 8-10 goals a season

Believable0 Unbelievable0

True, we should keep him

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure Di Canio sees it that way

I think it would be stupid if the club were to accept a bid for Simon Mignolet, it will be extremely difficult to replace him and shows no ambition by the club, we need to keep hold of our star players or we will not move forward!
His agent has already said that he will respect his contract, that means he is happy to stay with the club and not kick up a fuss, it's completely up to the club if he leaves or not, don't accept a bid for Christ sake! Say he's not for sale

This is just my opinion but I think the club should feel a bit hard done by, he wanted the chance to become our no1, we gave him every opportunity, we were patient, now he's at the caliber he is now, I think he owes us that much to at least stay with us

But if the club stupidly accept a bid under 15m never mind 8m!
and we end up in the state we were in last season, who's gunna be there to save our skins week in week out?

Just my opinion, feel free to disagree

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I don't think MIGS is as good as you say!. good shot stopper but suspect on crosses too many punches out when he could collect and remember against Villa he had a mare!. Westwood isn't far behind him but I feel PDC will have another keeper in mind!

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree that migs has shown no loyalty after everythingthe club has done for him. We will do well this season however westwood is nowhere near the calibre of Migs so a replacement is crucial. InPDC we trust

Agree0 Disagree0

The club must need the money from Mignolet for Transfers.

At this rate you will get a new squad 8.5 million.

Plenty of quantity anyway, question marks over the quality.

That is pretty much the opposite of how MON did things.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mignolet was outstanding last season but that's not to guarantee he is going to be this season if he goes we have excellent cover with westwood

Agree0 Disagree0

If migs wants to move, let him. Rather have players who are committed to the club and manager. I feel the whole gk thing gets over done, yes he's a good keeper, but there are lots of good keepers to be had. Plus why wait another year, when you can maximise his value now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont think it is anything to do with loyalty. Every player should have the right to further his career and if Mig thinks he will become first choice for Belgium if he plays for a much bigger team then good luck to him.
I think that the way we seem to be going it is a mistake for him to go.
I don't rate Rodgers that highly and can't see them back into the top four.
I do wish him well. {Ed024's Note - It could be an odd choice ..if Suarez goes will Sturridge step up, he only started 12 times last season and was subbed in 9 of those games. His scoring record is 1 every 2 but can he keep that up over 40/50 games ? Do you think Liverpool can make top 4 without Suarez ? Time for Rodgers to show what he can do.}

Is the paulinho we're being linked with the paulinho that scored for Brazil against Japan?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No,
The one we're going for is nowhere near as good as him who scored
What a shame
