I'm pretty confident we will get Rose
If I were in his position it would be an easy choice, go to Sunderland, not because i'm a Mackem, because its logical, come here and get first team football every week and hear the fans sing his name all day long, like they have been this season! And then in a few years, become an England left back, (probably first team)
Either that or go back to spurs to become a bench warmer where nobody really cares if you're part of the squad or not
COME ON ELLIS, SIGN HIM UP

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He will get first team football at Tottenham next season.

Rose is exactly the kind of player AVB likes, and that position is ready to be filled at Spurs.

I think you would be making a mistake blowing 8+ million on one player anyway.

How much of a budget are you expecting in the summer, and do you really want to blow most of it on one player?

If you were smart you would get a loan player in or buy quality from abroad which does not come with the inflated prices for being English.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tottenham are looking at 2 top quality, world class left backs in coentrao and pereira who would become first team regulars before they have even kicked a ball at spurs
Di Canio and Ellis Short have had negotiations which they have agreed on, Ellis Short (the multi Billionare) is willing to give Paulo Di Canio whatever budget he needs to improve the quality of our squad, so we won't be blowing all of our budget on one player

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with the original post and second reply
The first one is either a mags post or an person

Anybody think that we should put a bid in for bradfords wells?
I think we need some great cheap young lass then some 24-29 year olds with a bit of flair and a couple of bosmans? Anybody think different?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Lads mate. Safc93

Agree0 Disagree0

Players with experience would be good a few 29+ players

Agree0 Disagree0

I would aim for the age of 23 to 27
If you go over that the players will quickly get old, lose their class and their price would be drastically reduced if we wanted to sell or they wanted to leave

Agree0 Disagree0

A cheap young lass would fit in well with your lot!

Would like to know what players people think we should target who we have not already identified as targets, eg: Diakite, Rose, etc

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Cavani, Ledwanski, Lesscott, Milner and maybe Richards to replace Bardsley.

Agree0 Disagree0

Now let's not be children about this

Agree0 Disagree0

Cavani and Lewandowski?! You lot think we're deluded and you come up with that? Made my day ahaha

Agree0 Disagree0

The first reply was made by a mug. Sorry I mean mag. Safc93 {Ed024's Note -

Agree0 Disagree0

Oldest trick in the book.
Note that the most stupidest comments are never signed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly mags pretending to be sunderland fans is pathetic and just shows the mentality of the barcodes! SGBS!

Agree0 Disagree0

''ledwanski'' isn't he one of Titus Bramble's mates?

hope ellis shorts decision to go back to work doesn't distract him from the work he has to do at sunderland. reading that his lone star company is looking to set up in Europe with an aim to rake in a share of the trillion pounds floating around the banks in Europe. His investment partner at lone star now reporting the company worth a value of 61billion pounds let's hope he can get some of that into sunderland lads

Dicanio will be sacked in close season. He has allready upset many senior players and is a loose cannon.
OK with luck he managed to beat newcastle for that ell done.
However he will spend spen spend and make no bones him and his agent Spencer will make a few Bob along the way.
Cannot se the Fans/Players and Board putting up with his antics, was great day when he left Swindon as he almost bankrupted the club.
Do wish all Sunderland fans good summer and good season but beware of Dicanio he is a snake in the grass

Believable0 Unbelievable0

So, what part of Newcastle do you live in

Agree0 Disagree0

Yawn yawn bit of bitterness there mate PDC took you from 2nd to 1st and looked like taking you into championship but it all went wrong when he left which was down to your board

Agree0 Disagree0

Someone sounds bitter, haha, give him a chance, he'll not be sacked and if he has upset the players good some of them need upsetting after some of there performances, as for the fans it'll b a minority if any, time will tell but Upto now he's been ok and making the right noises, as for bankruptcy Lucky we have a chairman who's learned his lesson from the previous three managers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pardew to be sacked in the close season!

Agree0 Disagree0

Bet Pardew will be sacked first lucky if he gets the first half of season. PDC will do fine and get us into top 10 by end of next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pardew says he is staying. Gutted I was hoping he would be sacked.

Agree0 Disagree0

Top 10? no you will settle for 15th-11th next season.

I am not sure why lots of fans want Bardo to go, yes he has had a bad season but I am sure he has been voted pur best player in the last 2 out of 3 seasons, deserves a chance to stay.
Wonder if PDC will give Magande and Mandron a go against Spurs, leave out Graham from starting 11 but put him on for last 20 mins. I would love him to score winner which could see us go upto 11th if other results go our way for once.
Start Vaughan in place of McLean as McLean cannot pass a ball this season.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

McLean is out of his depth. Championship player at best and needs to go. Maybe another one for Bruce although he didn't play him either and he bought him. Vaughan is premiership class - proved it at Blackpool and shows it for us when given a chance. A definite one to keep. Not Bardo's greatest fan but agree that the guy deserves another season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Because Bardsley is an embarrassment on and off the field. All his best moments over the past year have come in casinos and betting shops- on the pitch he has served up tripe. He is an appalling example of how people with very limited talent can enjoy a lifestyle from football that is wholly undeserved. If this club was properly managed he would have been on his way some time back. Paulo has talked about increased discipline. If it was anything more than hot air then Bardsley would be gone by now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard bardsley is def on his way also gardner
