Boxing day is one of the biggest football days of the year and you could not fill your stadium. Even though you have a new manager, bearing in mind you blamed recent low attendances on Bruce's football and even the Great North Run.

The capacity is 49,000 and there was only 43,619 there. Hardly fan segregation.
Our last 3 home games the attendances have all been over 50,000. We had over 4,000 away at Bolton and it was Bolton's biggest crowd of the season.
Like I said before, Boxing Day is one of the biggest football days of the year and you pathetic lot could not fill your stadium!
