To all the BRUCE BASHERS out there! It wasn't too long ago you was all full of praise for him, as he led you to your highest league position in 10 years! Fickle fans, always looking for an excuse!

Listen to you calling us fickle, its not long ago you lot wanted rid of ashley now he is the best thing since sliced bread, also you all slated perch and williamson now you cant praise them enough so who is fickle again.

No mate i think i speak for over half the stadium we would much rather him gone but the one thing he,s done is ran the club productivly and make money thats what he does...

Name one time any toon fan has praised Ashley on here? Yes he's running the club very well, but I wouldn't say he's a favourite person with toon fans, due to lack of communication with fans. On the Williamson and perch situation, they are decent squad players at best who have well over performed in recent weeks, hence the position we are in. But to improve on this season we defo need to improve the defense

I thought this was a banter site not a English test. I would check your own spelling, grammar and punctuation before trying to make other's look silly. Personally I thought Bruce done a great job for Sunderland. LOL.

Where Sunderland at home yesterday. Just asking as they way they set up to park the bus I thought the were playing away. The football you play is like watching Barca. LOL.

To Quote what someone has already put on here which I feel may answer your point.

We were a team going down, actually in a relegation spot thanks to a Jawdee clown ( have you heard his comments lately, the whole of football are laughing at one of your Jawdee brothers, he'll never get a job in the English Premiership again, even Wolves wouldnt touch him!)

MON has made this excellent start with a squad he inherited, changed formations ,made subs where it counted and brought in players from the cold. A team ,let me remind you , your lot could only draw with , with a one man advantage for over 30 mins and on your home turf!

Why do the sgbs keep spouting off about 52,000 every home game with the start you had this season and all you were averaging 44,000 crowds until ashley gave season tickets away for £100.

Yes it edd007 but i aint a teacher in english and never said it was....have you never heard of sunderland going to all local schools and handing tickets out for kids... {Ed001's Note - if you were teaching my daughter anything, I would take her out of the school and move her to one where the teachers are capable of using English to an acceptable level.}

I teach p.e edd001 lol just outside durham city and due to it been a banter site i did,nt know i need to be checking my spelling for ya,s i,ll make sue next time i post it will be in the queens english lol...the school i teach at just so happens to have one of the highest pass rates and grades in the country aswell but again i teach p.e....smb {Ed001's Note - so does my cousin, but he still had to pass English to become a teacher. It makes no difference what subject he would have chosen, English was still compulsory.}

Sgb again i always thought they hate us but really they are on here that much it makes me wonder

Is it just me or does anyone else feel cheated paying to watch that type if negative football? Why don't we try attacking teams and having a go? We have nothing to loose were safe.

Best get use to that boring football. That is how O Neil sets up his team. Horrible to watch.

I was dissapointed with the 2nd half thought we would of made more of an effort going forward but if we did we would of got picked off by tottenham, plus we have another game tomorrow against everton and we don't want to be too tired for that coz it's a hard game, we safe yes but we still going for top ten finish so every point gained no matter how we play is welcome. O'Neill knows what he is doing, we need some more quality in the side, a 20 goal a season striker is a must

The 2nd commetnt must be a sad geordie, did O'neill play boring football at villa or celtic? No he played attacking football, sunderland need more attacking players in teh summer which I'm sure he will buy for us

Why did he leave villa?? because he never got he,s own way and learner was sick of him wasting money and go on villa forum and see what they think of him...as for celtic last long up there did,nt he only 2 teams than can play up there....

MON inherited a squad which he has to play to their strengths, more than the saddo Jawdee could achieve with the team he actually bought. We will see a different style of play when MON has own players in. That said their are not many I would get rid of as a squad, just a couple more quality players to give us some flair. We have some depth, a couple of high scoring strikers to bolster our squad is what we desperately need. as I type we are + 5 goal differance, we arent to far away now with a bent,Gyan or a Philips (praise be his name) goal scorer we would be amazing! I name these players as we have had that type of player before, with this squad and this manager and a player (or two lets be greedy) the sky would be the limit. We can still finish 8th this season and that is after the most terrible of starts.

Can u see sunderland ever attracting the likes of james milner etc he spent £120 million plus in 3 to 4 years at villa and you lot have allready spent £80 million through keane and £50 million through bruce so dont think you be spending much as your crowds are falling which means revunes will be....

Boring footbal? How come the goals have been going in from all over the park and not just from the forwards so we must be playing some kind of attacking football you geordie clown. Ba had a good goals to game ratio for u lot but has dried up Cisse has also got a good goals to game ratio but no hardly any goals from anywhere else whats gonna happen when Ba leaves and Cisse goals dry up SGB

Yes we play boring football! muppet. thats why we went to the etihad and scored 3 goals. we played to nulify the opposition on saturday and it worked well poor ref again but that ISNT an excuse as for the geordies persistantly coming on here with empty seats cant fill your' stadium please please please come up with some decent banter and new material. really showing yourselves up as no intelligence just following previous posts.. sad really
