Brighton midfielder Liam Bridcutt has handed in a transfer request as former boss Gus Poyet tries to take him to Sunderland. source Brighton & hove Albion website.
1.) That might alert other clubs but I think he wants to play for Poyet!
2.) Bridcutt and Poyet have a great relationship, and they know how to get the best out of each other.

Haway the lads. Brighton fan here. Don't want to lose Bridcutt, but him and Poyet I must admit had excellent understanding between each other and in my opinion one of the Best CDM in the league. at 24 years old he is starting to get brilliant. So I hope we keep him but if he goes. OMG you got yourself one hell of a player. my guess is 3. 7 will secure him. Hope you stay up. Happy new year.
Ooh I really hope we keep Buckley And Bridcutt for our own playoff hopes. Very good players. will do well under Poyet at Sunderland as they know exactly how he want to play football.

Haway the Lads. i'm a Brighton fan and I'm going to secretly support Sunderland. you have a good team and with Poyet in charge I personally think good things will come. I was Gutted when we lost him. Best Manager Brighton has ever seen. He has a brilliant football brain and EXCELLENT tactical prowess. in January you may have a Mr Liam Bridcutt who in my mind is a huge player and a young starlet. Ps. prediction no-way you will be relegated with Poyet in charge. HAWAY the Lads. 8)
