Out of everyone we have been linked with so far here is my team if we actually sign any of them.
GK - Mignolet
RB - Cavanda
CB - Diakite
CB - Roberge
LB - Orban or Mbaye
CM - Gullavogul
CM - Candreva
RM - Johnson
LM - Zarate
ST - Rossi or Hernandez
ST - Dost or Fletcher
I have left Aubameyang and Duncan out as I don't think we will get them even if we are interested.
Believable5
Unbelievable3
That'd be brilliant.
Agree3
Disagree3
Fletcher will get ahead if Bas Dost

Gk - Migs
Rb - Cavanda
Rcb - Diakite
Lcb - O'shea / Roberge (whoever star)
Lb M'baye or Orban
Lm Johnson
Cm Guilavougi
Rm Biabiany
Cf Hernandez
St - Dost
St Fletcher
Subs : Westwood O'shea/roberge cabral wickham colback larsson mandron
Agree2
Disagree2
Instead of larsson zarate
Agree2
Disagree1
Johnson and Biabiany are not well known to track back so the second team leaves our defence exposed so I would agree more with the first one 4-4-2. Would swap candreva for Cabal or D'dye ( spelling ). Would allow the wingers more freedom as they will be the wall infront of the defence.
Agree2
Disagree2
Problem having Dost and Fletcher together is they are to similar and don't have much pace. Would swap Dost for Rossi or Hernandez as they have some pace and play on the defenders shoulders for through balls and flick on's like bent used to.

Sorry MIGS will not be here next season!. ill be really suprised if he is!

Ed, who's the latest player linked with us {Ed024's Note - John Elmanders name has come up - but given he's 32 he doesnt fit the profile of the type of players we seem to be going after so this could be an agent talking up his player)

As I said early today there would be more links I'm right.
Sky are reporting we are in talks to sign Aubameyang and the club are willing to sell. No bid yet but the two clubs are in discussions as I post this.

What do you think Paolo will do with Danny Graham? I'm sure Fletcher will play under Paolo but not too sure if he wants to just buy one striker or more. Another thing I'm not too sure about is N'Diaye (forgive spelling I can never get it right. ) but I think he was pretty good towards the end of the season. I think he should be in the starting line-up for our first game if fit. Also what do you think will be the future of.
Craig Gardner?
Phil Bardsley?
Connor Wickham?
Lee Cattermole?
Stephane Sessegnon?
Believable2
Unbelievable0
They will be all sold for the right price

Sessegeon will not leave!
Agree2

Personally I would keep the last 3 names

Dont understand the anti-Graham sentiment. A proper footballer and should be kept. PDC knows his stuff and will not let him go. {Ed024's Note - no shortage of effort - just needed a break to get a goal}
Agree5
Disagree1
Heard Sess will go for £6million? eh!. he's worth double that value. who valued Sess at that price?. the more we get in the more PDC will have to spend. mind i'd snap Liverpools hand off at £9 million as there are lots of good keeps at a third of that price!
Agree1
Disagree1
Agree I think Graham will come good next season and coming off the bench hell score plenty of goals like he did at Swansea!
Agree2

Think we need to persevere with Wickham, it's clear to me he has the quality to come good

Sess is 29 no one will fork out 6 mill for him

Thought I would do an upto date list of players the TV papers or web have linked us with.
Cavanda - some sites are saying this deal is done at 3.5mil and he will be on his way soon.
Hernandez - players to decide his future after the confed cup. If he does want to join SAFC will take time as he is co owned. Could find a situation were we pay one club 3mil and the other 5mil as they will demand there own prices.
Dost - some papers in Germany are saying a bid of 10mill has been accepted with 3mil add on fee's. It looks like he will be also signing soon.
Duncan - SAFC have bid 7mil after there first bid was rejected. I can see this bid been accepted and the player to sign for SAFC.
Biabiany - Contact has been made but SAFC have made no bids for the player yet.
Zarate - He will sign for SAFC if he becomes a free agent. SAFC not willing to pay 5mil for the player. Waiting game on this till after 10th of July.
Rossi - I honestly have not heard anything about this before today and can't find anything about SAFC been in contact to sign him from a reliable site. But Some Italian sites say he's talked with SAFC but find it hard to believe.
Orban - Fee agreed at 3.5mil. Other teams have also had the same fee agreed and it will be upto the player where he goes. His season ends 22 of June so will know more then.
Insigne - SAFC did bid 5.5mil that was rejected no news after this so am unsure if SAFC will increase there bid or have been givin a figure to buy him and lost intrest.
That's it for now but am sure there will be more to come.

Anyone think we should go for Defoe?
Tottenham want him out

As was the case in January, we were interested as he wasn't happy. But as Ed noted, Defoe wouldn't want to come up here to play. His family is settled in London.

Hope Zarate does not come to use, South American players are always flops for the lads, only Arca did well for use and Thome did ok. The rest where a waste of time
Believable4
Unbelievable4
I disagree, when I saw him at birmingham against us 1 wet night he was best player on pitch when he came on. Was clearly very raw which is why he was probably branded a flop but there was more than enough about him to think he'd do well in english game. Its the same with that christian benitez at birmingham at around the same time, ridiculously fast, ridiculously raw but bet he would be a heck of a lot better than that now.

Rumours are that Bas Dost has said he wants to move to sunderland in a deal worth 12m pound also sounds as though D'Ambrosio deal won't happen, possibility that Zarate will join after july 10th. Hernandez deal could happen along with a possible loan for John Guidetti also sounds more positive on Danny Rose will spurs chasing two other left back options
team come August:
Mignolet
Rb
Diakite
O'Shea
Rose
Johnson
N'Diaye
Cattermole
Zarate
Dost
Fletcher
Subs: Westwood, Roberge, Colback, Cabral, Larsson, Guidetti, Hernandez

I have it on very good authority that Mignolet will be going to Liverpool. {ed024 - Probably}
Borini will sign for Sunderland. (ed024 - Probably Not}
It will not happen as an exchange.
Liverpool will pay 8 million for Migs. {ed024 - £8M would be rejected}
Sunderland will pay 9. 5 for Borini. {ed024 - more than for Migs ???}
Fletcher will be joining Tottenham in the New Year transfer window once he has been proven to be fit. {ed024 - Now your being silly - why would Sunderland sell??}
My sources also tell me that Sunderland are attempting to steal a march on West Ham for Ambrosini. {024 - Why cos he's Italian ?}
Last but not least - Rossi who plays upfront for Fiorentina is being tracked. Fee isn't high, but wages could be a stumbling block. {Ed024's Note - This has been ongoing for the last few days}
Believable1
Unbelievable8
What so Ed just to confirm, are we actually after Rossi? {Ed024's Note - yes i believe so.}
Agree2

Thats the biggest news so far this transfer window is it not. Has he lost a leg or something? {Ed024's Note - Unless there has been some confusion between Rosina Siena and Rossi Fiorentina - I am told we have enquired about both.}

Can someone elaborate a bit on this Rossi rumour? Which rossi are we talking about here?

Guilespi who used to be At United who Barca were after 2 seasons ago.

Rossi didn't do a great deal in his time in england before I would be quite dubious about him signing could get better

I don't think Mignolet will be leaving this summer. His agent has said he is to respect his contract and is happy to see out the final 2 years of it.
Agree1

Told you all on here 2 weeks ago mignolet was going to Liverpool for 6.5mill rising to 10mill on appearances guidetti will sign on loan for a season and the skunks will get Darren bent all well before mentioned in media {Ed024's Note - 6.5m - No chance}
Agree0
Disagree0
That's the deal ed mate believe it or not a lot of deals are done with prices rising on appearances 6. 5 rising to 10 also heard that the bent deal was on the same situation and villa didn't want to play him as his appearances were close to us getting rest of the money we were going to get so we won't get anything from his sell on mate also a lot of people mentioning sess on his way nothing coming from my source to say his leaving pdc hoping to keep him.

Surely with all the exciting young players which have/will arrive at the SOL, Mig's would want to be a part of it next season at least. I know the new policy seems to be bring them on then sell at a good price but we still need a top class keeper and Mig's proved last season that he is just that. Liverpool, for me, would be a bad move for him as they showed last season they are no where near a team that can challenge for a top 4 spot, Suarez carried them and if he is sold, well they will be no better than a mid table team and that will hopefully be on par with us next season.
Believable5
Unbelievable1
Wouldnt count on it I can see lots of bosmans comin in and afew unwanted runaways

By the look of it Newcastle are only going to get players running away from them. Green with envy, some of these will turn out to be excellent signings, some wont.
Newcastle have got one of the worst records for signing the wrong players.
Michael Owen is still chuckling.

How can you say you will be on Par with Liverpool, Ed has he gone Insane {Ed024's Note - Me thinks this is wishful thinking, requires Sunderland to improve significantly and Liverpool to worsen significantly}
