Zaha, guidetti, Rose, berbatov and Johnson, I'd be happy with that!

Whose Rose ?

I presume its danny rose from spurs
Agree3

Danny Rose - he may be a Spurs player but he spent most of the last 2 years out at Bristol City and Peterboro - hardly a first choice for a premier league club. Maybe MON was impressed by Olympic performances !
Agree5
Disagree0
Zaha and johnson play right wing so wont get both plus you can keep berbatov hes lazier than kenwyne and too old {Ed024's Note - too old ! 2 years younger than Louis Saha

27 goals in last 44 pl games he played in

Please please please - let's put the Fletcher transfer saga behind us. I'm not convinced he's worth more than 8/9Million - talk of 15 Million is crazy. No Premier league club will pay £15million - MON, please look elsewhere. Jez M will realise his mistake - over price your players and they don't sell - your just left with a lot of unhappy players feeling forced to hand in transfer requests.

Apparently lpool have stumped our deal for johnson, scouse t***s
Agree5

The truth is the club don't want to sell Fletcher or Jarvis and have publicly stated if anyone wants them they will have to pay over the odds. Whether this is prudent only time will tell. The 12-13 million was the correct price but compared to bent henderson carroll etc its not enough. Sunderland have to realise if you get top dollar for your players you have got to pay top dollar for others.

MON submitted a 10m + add ons rising to 15m bid for Adam Johnson after a loan bid was rejected. The 10m bid has been accepted and terms have been agreed so he should be signing in the next few days. MON also after John Guidetti from Man City, fee thought to be around 6m also Scott Dann from Blackburn swap deal for Titus Bramble + 2m. MON has not lost interest in Steven Fletcher, MON is thought to be putting in a bid of 15m for the Wolves forward which is meeting their valuation. Jermain Defoe is also being looked at for around 8m if the Fletcher deal doesnt go ahead but im not sure Defoe would want to come to sunderland and im not sure spurs would let him leave due to their limited striking options however first team football every week could tempt him up north. MON also realises that we need a left back especially since Kieran Richardson is leaving, i think the favourite to come to sunderland is Martin Olssen from Blackburn, fee of around 4m. MON also looks to be getting Joao Caminata, a 17 year old creative midfielder of Porto on a free transfer to ease the pressure off Sessegnon. As for players going out Kieran Richardson wants to go to london, reading, qpr and west ham interested, fee thought to be in the region of 4 or 5m. As ive said Titus Bramble looks to be going to Blackburn in swap deal. Ahmed Elmohamady is not in MON plans so he will be going to either Al Ahly or Hull, for around 2m. As for Sess i am pleased to say he should be staying at the sol. So overall lads i think with these players coming in i think we'll have a decent squad so all you negative fans should start being positive coz really the SOL could do without you. In MON we trust.
First team after transfer deadline:
Simon Mignolet-GK
Phil Bardsley-RFB
John O'shea-CB
Carlos Cuellar-CB
Martin Olssen-LFB
Adam Johnson-RW
Jack Colback-CM
James McClean-LW
Stephane Sessegnon-AM
John Guidetti-CF
Steven Fletcher/Jermain Defoe-CF
Subs:
Kieren Westwood
Scott Dann
Matt Kilgallon
Lee Cattermole
Joao Caminata
Frazier Campbell
Louis Saha

Where is all this money apparently coming from?
So far have signed - saha on a free and Cueller on a free. You think Johnson for 15m Guidetti 6m and fletcher 15m? Over 30m of transfers. Errr good one ....

I know yesterday was only our first game but we played poorly the second half and only sound defending kept us in the game. Our midfield are devoid of ideas but have been told that re-inforcements are in the pipeline. And yes i am happy with the point but not with the performance {Ed024's Note - I think any Sunderland fan would have taken a point before the game - that said your comments are more 'banter' than 'rumour' - have you heard any rumours about whose in the pipeline ?
Agree2

Cant slag off negative fans cos none of the players mentioned have signed and liverpool ,according to sky sports, have enquired about johnson. He will go there for higher wages as he did when city came calling

Unbelievable12
Who are you? his agent

Why would man city send him to everton on loan and not accepted 11mill from sunderland come on use your common sense plus he is close with his parents who live in Sunderland and are massive fans
Agree7

If thats the case then city would reject our 10m bid, one word bull!
Agree6

Put it this way,i think mancini would rather have cash than loan him out and everton couldnt afford him, they have spent their last on miralles, interesting to see johnson out of the side altogether tday.tk73
Agree5
Disagree0
Love to see Johnson at TSOL but can we afford his wages ?..beleive it when it happens ...also we are after a Croation left back and if he signs Richardson will be gone !
Agree6
Disagree2
I dont think mancini would loan him out to a side thats challenging the top 4,and i think everton will pressure the champions lge this season
Agree5
Disagree3
One paper says safc bid 10 million the other paper says adam johnson going out on loan......what ever happens johnson would need to drop 30k+ a week to go to safc....and everton can afford him
Agree3
Disagree3
You would think that given that Rodwell has gone the other way then Everton would have made Johnson happen at that point.
Agree2

BTW Mancini doesn't deal with transfers, that is Brian Marwood, who is from Sunderland. Mancini was only whinging about his (Marwood's) lack of activity last week?! If a fee is accepted it will be ahead of a loan every time...
