A bit of bad news
Di Canio said that he had no control of transfers and the 14 that were brought in
It was all the director of football

Poyet needs to have a strong say in transfers, only he knows who he wants and who could do the job that he wants the team to do

Di canio also said de fanti was in control but yet it was PDC who brought him in, think him and O'neill should just slug it out and get on with it and leave us out of it!

It wasn't the Italian loony who brought Di Fanti in Spartan. It was Ellis Short who was introduced to Di Fanti and it was Di Fanti himself who recommended the Italian loony to Ellis Short when O-Neill left the club. Di Fanti was ten appointed in May 2013 as DOF and overseeing recruitment. It is a right mess though isn't it? And as usual it is you and me and many thousands of us fans who pick up the pieces.

Di Fanti needs to go! the problem is he's related to a close friend of Short so Ellis needs to be buisness like and get rid of Di Fanti now for the good of the club!

What a load of nonsense, you listen to one spat between 2 wallies behaving like kids and you come to the decision Di Fanti has to go. Give the guy the opportunity to work with poyet and turn it around. i'm telling you now I watched worse players last season play some dreadful stuff which adds to the frustration because we are a better team this year but need to prove that as the season goes on. But to now say Di Fanti needs to go is ridiculous and already fans are looking to tear up Shorts long term plan, the first long term plan I've ever known us to have.

Well if that's rubbish WHY is Poyet threatening to quit if he can't overide defanti decisions?. the manager should ALWAYS HAVE the last word on transfers! and also why is there so much poor quality in our back up squad?. one answer DI FANTI!

So what would happen if Poyet says to Short I want my own director of football and chief scout? what happens then?. new managers always invaribly bring in there own staff for Short or Difanti to say to POyet you must have this player is interferiance!
