Johnny Evans is on Gus's radar apparently, would prefer him to Dawson.

2.) I'd prefer him to Dawson too.
I think van Gaal wanting to use three central defenders at the back will see him reluctant to part with Evans unless they get one of their big name transfer targets in place.
