Anyway away from the borini thing. not a bad run out yesterday, good to see fletch back in the goals and some of the fringe players like cabral getting a game. How about Whatmore at right back. what's the word on Clayton have we signed him. All in all not a bad run out for the lads

Hi all. although I'm pleased with what I'm seeing so far I am a bit concerned on a couple of areas. the full back positions are a worry perruzi deal seems to be taking forever so I'm wondering if he's hoping for a bigger club to come in. We nowhere near getting a left back. I do agree we need another striker, pacy box player ala Phillips mould. There's no guarantee these players will cut it in the premier league so I wouldn't necessarily get rid of all our players from last year, notably catts or Alfie and Gardner. The new additions may provide a spark for the old players to pick up their performances. I would forget huddlestone, too slow and injury prone, we may as well keep catts. Meirelis would be a good signing and if we can't buy him maybe rose on loan again?. not sure which striker though. just my opinion lol, thanks for reading.

Hi guys. well yesterday was better but still not brilliant. We still have players out of position ie defoe. Lens and rodwell showed glimses of what they can bring to the table but will they be consistent. i'm glad short addressed the transfer situation. What confises me is why we not meering prices for a few players ie. Austin 15 million. matt phillips 12 million them teo would solve the central striker and wide right player both scored goals in prem league and both want to leave qpr. why aren't we bidding for evans 10 million. or davies from hull. I believe if we get the mentioned players and a LEFT BACK. I think it wil sort out this club we love. we cannot compete with big names they just won't come to us. location and historic relegation battles bit I think these players are realostic targets

It's not the transfer fees, it's the wage demands I'd expect. Austin is on 45k atm plus appearance/goal etc, I honestly think they were expecting some of our players(more than have left) to have left freeing up more on the wage bill.

Can,t see anybody paying 15mill for Austin with his medical history,it seems to be common knowledge in the game that he's knee is pretty fragile,as for Saturday's game yes I feel we did get out of jail a bit with the point,Swansea had some great chance s and dominated for a bit second half but hey I.'ll take a point all day long,we need the players in this DA keeps mentioning without them we are in a bit of trouble

Well, 5 games and we already look relegated. there are so many issues arising already that is really worrying. PDC seems, unfortunately, out of his depth. He is not a premier league manager yet. we cannot score or create chances and we cannot keep clean sheets. he has bought players then stiffed them, ie cabral and the young right winger. he's alienated players like bardo and catts and sold players that would be in our starting 11 namely sess and alfie. Yes sess seemed disinterested but maybe that's down to the manager, we don't know. johnson seems worse that last season, which seems unbelievable as he was poor last year too. why does he chop and change especially at half time he hasn't a clue which is his best team or which players he actually likes. Ji was on the bench again instead of Wickham which is totally bizarre seen as though ji is garbage. we are in a bad state at the minute and I cannot see any way forward for us. Fletch looks as though he's out now for a while. the three good things that has come out the wba game are the right back and diakete seem to have settled and the return of catts, he has GOT to be in the team simple as that. I think giachorini (spelling) should be more central playing behind altidore with mavrias given a run. i'd drop johnson for a few games for the young kid, karlson, we need to change it up, maybe starting with the manager. I've never called for a managers head, ever, but for all his passion he falls short on the pitch. i'm sorry for saying this after only 5 games but how can we be playing with such little confidence already? we have conceded 3 goals in the last three games and it could have been more. we are in trouble and even the die hard supporters have got to admit that. from the pictures on the television he is losing the supporters and if rumours be true has already starting to lose the players. the sight of westwood after the final whistle says it all i'm afraid.

I think already there's a few things obvious about the squad this season.
1. Our need for a left back is there to be seen
2. Gardner, web, ji, Vaughan and wick ham are just not good enough to go to the next level.
3. I'd like us to retain a British core. There's nothing worse than having 17 foreigners on a match day lol, my opinion no offence meant to anybody.
4. There is a place for Catts in this set up.
5. The back four promises to be solid this season.
6. I believe we still need a forward as sess doesn't seem interested whatsoever and a central midfielder as well as the stated left back
7. Finally I hope PDC rams the words down Lawrence's throat!

I don't think bride tut is useless, he came into a side bottom of the league dead on our feet going nowhere but down. I think this season we will see why gus bought him. With the addition of Buckley it may help him to settle a bit. I also think altidore and roberge will be better this year after their initial first season.

well as its getting close to the season and close to the end of the window we now need to be pro-active and get our team sorted. we all, as supporters, can see where we need to improve so here is my views. I've read this morning the list of players spurs are wanting rid of and we should nip in straight away. Dawson, Townsend and Lennon are available and would improve us greatly. Then nip across to Manchester and steal Richards. that would give us the following team.
Mannone in goal, deserves to start as number 1
back four of Richards-dawson-Brown-VanAnhalt
in front of them i'd play 2 of Cattermole and Rodwell.
In front of them i'd play a three of Johnson-Townsend-Lennon with Fletcher or Wickham up front.
Stong at the back power and pace in midfield and goal threats throughout.

I think we should tell mr borini where to go. I was happy to hear we'd bid and had it accepted, I do feel he would improve us but if he has to think about it ie hope for someone else to come in for him then drop him straight away bring in someone who wants to play for the club. deluded little Italian. he was nothing at Chelsea or Liverpool and he thinks he's too good for us. think not fabio
Good winger, international player will improve our choices I think with him jonno and jacky looks a good move I thinks
