They had a 5 mil bid rebuked. As we didn't improve a 3.5 mil bid I doubt we'll try and go after him still.

120k a week for an out of contract player which is something who got something like 6m for someone who got something like 13 goals in 24 games last season isn't bad!
Hell of a statement if we can somehow get him, might be the surprise Gus was on about

Apparently he's willing to take a massive pay cut to stay in premier league. He's already turned down big money from the middle east

Eto said he would take a pay cut to stay in the prem, that's what has attracted a interest of Mr Poyet so could be very possible.
