Why is O'Neill bleeting on about DICANIO? O'Neill would have taken us down - he is old hat, boring and dated. DICANIO was passionate and sussed the players out fairly quickly - whilst he had some issues with managing them, he didn't say anything I could disagree with and for this he deserves some credit not has been players and managers jumping on the band wagon slating him. I for one wish DICANIO the very best in the future and thank him for keeping us up last season and for the 0-3 at Sid James Park!

1.) Yeh I very much agree. O'neill was the disgrace in all this and caused us so many problems that were trying to mend still. Di canio was a lot of things that will divide opinion but the passion and excitement he generated as well as apparently a unique and enterprising training regime I still think he was necessary and I don't care what anyone says, he kept us up whilst giving us 1 amazing day in our history. If these players learned one thing from him its that you can't go round playing as poorly as they did under O'Neill and think there aren't consequences. Poyet will reap some benefit from succeeding Di Canio because the players now have to prove they were right and Di Canio was wrong. and a good start has been made.

How ungracious was Pardew? He says they feel they should have won it yet their best chance was a back header from O'Shea! Their arrogance never ceases to amaze me and they feel they have a divine right to beat us every time which makes our victories even more enjoyable!
