On what basis is not entirely clear, it could just be a consultancy role, similar to the one Joorabchian enjoyed at the Hammers, enabling him to bring in Mascherano and Tevez. Doncaster had a similar thing going on just before they got relegated from the Championship too.}

4.) I'd take Maloney, mcmanaman and do Santo tbh

Alright ed, what pre season games do we have this year and when are they? Can't wait for the new season! Exciting times ahead! {Ed024's Note - At least 1 closed game in Italy next week, then Spurs, Man City and South China in Hong Kong between 24th and 27th July.}

2.) Very scant, need get more games sort, leaving it late. Need to be match fit not just fit. There is also much gelling to do with all the new players coming in.
3.) Well if Rose is kept at Spurs he could be playing against us in the far east!
4.) Does anyone know if a game against a hartlepool or darlo is on the cards again also? {Ed024's Note - Hartlepool has been mentioned but no dates confirmed as far as I know.}
5.) Its obvious when the squad comes back from Italy and Asia there will be other friendlies!
6.) Well not really that obvious is it? Wouldn't of asked otherwise. Was only asking if we have games against local teams.
Can't wait to see altidore and peruzzi next season. Quality signing IMHO

Players I would love to come in the summer-
Alexandar Dragovic - FC Basel
Danny rose- spurs
Raja nianggolan (spelling?)- Cagliari
Atsu/stocker- Porto/FC Basel
Rodrigo/burak yilmaz - benfica/ galatasaray
Think those signings would set us up fantastically for next season
1.) Need a RB
We might actually stand a descent chance of getting Yilmaz because Man U have cooled their interest in him and decide to go all out for Lewandowski, Yilmaz would be brilliant for us
Get top 10 with them players for sure
2.) I don't think people realise for us to bring that many players in we will need to sell andi can't see many clubs wanting to take some of our players on the wages they are on due to previous managers giving out silly money
3.) Somehow I don't think rodrigo's going to leave a top club and same for yilmaz
4.) You wonder why we laugh at you. Lewandonski really? Even if Man U have cooled there interest which I doubt you would no anything about he would never sign for a team fighting relegation in the PL. He will have the pick of the cream Europe if he leaves and in case your not sure Sunderland is not in the cream of Europe.
5.) No you got the wrong end of the stick mate
Man Utd wanted Yilmaz, but they have cooled their interest in him because Lewandowski is in top form and now want him
Which means that they have opened the door for someone like us to snap up Yilmaz
I don't want us to try for Lewandowski because it is pointless and don't stand a chance of getting him
Side note: Yilmaz has said he is open to a switch to the premier league

Ed can you clear up what the difference is between head coach and manager? Happy and confused! Cheers ed {Ed001's Note - head coach picks the team and tactics, plus trains the players in them. Manager also chooses what players are bought and sold, and may have even more responsibilities off the pitch.}
1.) Alright cheers ed, so do you think somebody may be brought in as a director of football to overlook transfers etc? Cheers {Ed001's Note - someone will need to be brought in to keep Di Canio in check, he nearly ruined Swindon financially.}

Good luck with De Canio if anyone can make an impact in a short period it has to be somebody like him. He can motivate players quickly to play in the style he wants.
O'Neil was unlucky with team injuries but he has been manager long enough to have "strength in depth" so in this he has failed. My personal feeling the problem of your league position should have been dealt with at least a month earlier not with just 7 games left.

6.) Thanks mate, I agree with you to be honest. The timing is unusual. Most of us wanted him gone in december but they stuck with him. If we stay up then I can't wait to see what he can do in the Summer Window.

Can't believe this man is still working in football. Absolutely clueless. Doesn't know what to do at all. Honestly think it was his assisstant that has always made him look good. He doesn't know who to bring on or when to do it. Completely fed up of his decisions and his sh**e excuses for everything that e doesn't know how to do. Just walk Martin. MON out.
