Reports saying we have made a move for the celtic forward (and Greek international) Georgios Samaras. We are apparently working out terms with him.
If he's good then could be a very useful signing as he can also apparently play on the left wing, a place were we do not have a specialist only Borini who I believe would be better than Alti and Fletch up front. J
1.) Sports Direct News quoting the Italian press who were quoting Sports Direct News. The rubbish circle is complete
2.) Ive heard we are very close to signing Scooco for £4 million. its a complicated transfer similar to the Vergini one where 2 seperate parties are owed part of the transfer fee!. good signing paticularly if Samaras could sign aswell. we need strikers!

Sunderland have signed Oscar Ustari on a 6 month contract. Reports say he may appear in the match against Manchester United on Wednesday.
1.) Another god damn defensive player
What the hell is going on Gus
2.) Doesn't get much more defensive than a goalkeeper after all. We did need cover, now hopefully he'll remember what a striker or midfielder is & get us a couple.
3.) The Argentinian keeper is just cover and competition for Manonone mind we do need more power up front!. that's why we aren't further up this league!
4.) LOL you think Gus does not know he needs a striker? the only thing he's not done is put a jobs notice in the echo, world class striker needed wage £30. 000 week could be relegated must score 20 goals a season bet they are queuing up to join
5.) A Tad insane to think we'll attract any world class players, we're just not in that league.
There are however many players for many teams that are not world class yet still get the job done, those are the ones I hope we're aiming at, as with those we've actually got a shot.
