Obviously I dinnat kna for sure but it seems mr borini has misled Gus! Why would Gus hang on so long for one player if he wasn't confident of getting him!! Anyway welcome to the life of a sunderland supporter! Getting worried no real quality striker or defender on the horizon????????

Ed I see Q P R s bid to sign Borini is faltering! . we should put a late bid for £10 million in for him lol!

4.) Borini ranked 30th in goal scoring table last season so not as convinced that all loan signings do that well - they just stand out in a below average team. Our problem now is that the bars just got lower. Reliance again will be on midfield for goals and that's a frightening formula. Didn't expect a surprise but hoped we would strengthen. Feel like the back office have been very poor.
5.) Yes which makes it harder to sign them the following season and we are back to square one.

Ed last season Ricky Alvarez was mainly used down the middle. Though he does play either wing either very well. Looks very good if videos are anything to go by, fairly pacey, can ride a challenge, very tricky unfortunately he looks very one footed and not the strongest of finishers.

Apparently borini arrived at stadium today? Local taxi driver confirmed drop off? Has anybody else seen or heard anything???
1.) A taxi driver wouldn't pick him up. Surely it would be a club car and member of staff.

Having just witnessed that pathetic dross of football from the players ! You cannot train heart desire and determination ! Premiership players my arse they must return the money the fans paid for the trip ! To produce that when you are earning the money they are on is disgraceful ! What a joke !!!!!!!!

Im sorry, but whether we were to win or not in that manner Poyet must be considered sacking, yeah, he may call us impatient but every year the same. We never show any desire to win a game for the full 90 minutes, fair play to Bradford who took their chances but who is the championship side here? From that performance us, I mean come on, I'm not going to go all out Newcastle but if the same happens against West Brom. #PoyetOut. If he manages to find a fricking excuse God Bless Him because I will shoot him (jokes). The way he has us playing is unbelievabl. y bad. Honeymoon should promise coming on but why bring vergini on in the latter stages of the game when we are getting thrashed? But Howay blood guts and thunder where was that desire to close down quicker! To be first to the ball ! To want to win for the shirt there was only a couple at best !! It's worrying that as a team we can't get up for every game no matter who the opposition ! I do like the way we play when we are on it !It's just to inconsistent ! Please what is banning on ! Let's hope this comment get put up as my others don't, ok so what about Chelsea??? They lost to Bradford at home no conditions to blame don't hear them calling Joses head! There isn't a better manager we could attract at the moment I think we give him until the end of the season and judge him them as we are still clearing out the rubbish from ex managers! All you people need to take into account the money managers have wasted since mick McCarthy on average players. The end of the day we have players who have come for final payday and I for one wouldn't sign them again now! I think we should back out manager until end of season then decide!
6.) I realise Mr mackem he could use subs, change formation, etc but it's the players that are on the pitch ! And he did leave it late to change things ! Which was way to late to have any effect on the game ! At the end of the day we've all played football !that team on various occasions this season have not been at the races ! And what I'm getting at its about personal pride to give your all to your fans !! And that hasn't happened a lot this season ? And why you cannit blame gus for players not tracking back not being more aware of what's happening in the game ! Where's the overwhelming desire to win ! In a lot of games I don't see that ! It's not just tactics it's desire to win the ball use it effectively with composure and that accuracy of pass to allow us to get in positions to be effective ! As a team we are not all on it at the moment ! And it's worrying ! No matter how much gus says they give there all ! They didn't and haven't in a lot of games this season ! As a manager I do like gus however he's not getting the best out of what's available at the moment ! I hope it changes for the best sooner rather than later ! Howay the lads

Whilst I'm over the moon we won today there is still a lot of negatives? Hopefully now Gus is given the time needed to turn this around!! Possession is key in football it both relieves and adds pressure as we saw today constantly giving it away! But while you have it the opposition ain't hurting ya? I think we should play like Southampton, when they have the ball they just keep it, they don't try force their way up field they do it with patience
And when the don't have the ball it is full on pressure, every player within 20 yards is putting them under immense pressure right until they make a mistake
This is why they are 3rd, not a fluke
2.) You 2 clearly didn't go to the game did you if this is all youve got to say on it because there isn't a soul who was there today not buzzing and enjoying the moment. Everything else can wait for another day.

Whilst I agree there are changes needed I still think we need to attack as the best form of defence is to attack your opponents! And not to be to defensive! We need the balance right in all aspects of the team setup! Attacking defending keeping the ball better and longer as a team! Desire determination and heart it's a massive team and fan effort required to win this game! So come all you mackems scream your heart out for the team on Sunday! I kna this is asking a lot, because of the way they have performed recently! But if we really want to win this game it will take every ounce of courage from the team and us the fans! How unusual a mistake at the back and the same old frailties come flooding back! Bardsley are you for real playing him after what he did! His mistake for first goal! Slower in the second half! Not on there game at all?? Same old core of players! Surely the best form of defence is to attack to relieve pressure but then to be organised and tight at the back! I'm absolutely gutted! I feel for Gus but haway that was not acceptable in the second half! Three players not played much football this season! Clearly not match fit? Why! I know it's only one game but it doesn't look good! From what I've seen today I'm seriously worried! Clearly Gus has been hoodwinked by passion and determination from certain players in training! But surely not making mistakes playing simple descent football is what we need! Whilst I agree we need passion blood guts and all that rubbish but it's all got to be balanced! I'm seriously worried for every safc supporter that was as shocking as it gets in the second half! Trials and tribulations of a safc supporter! And for all you people who go on about being negative! I'm saying what I saw and feel on this second display! Shameful!! I dinnat want to do it at the ground!! Absolutely gutted!!
1.) I don't think anyone will have a pop at you for being negative. there's a point where you at these players and your so disgusted by them there's nothing to be positive about. Gus will be trying everything to get somekind of response, he has to so shouldn't be blamed nor if he doesn't get any decent result for some time to come. These players forced Di Canio out of the door and don't care about the supporters, the club and i'm talking about the same shameful lot who were a joke under o'neill who I still blame a lot for this mess.
2.) Cheers Marra! I agree and I ain't going to get on the managers back he deserves time to get his style of play across! My fear is that we haven't really got the players to do that! I'll rephrase that I think we have got them at the club! Mavrias, cabral, molberg karlson, from what I've seen and heard of whatmore, he's doing well! Diakaite looks alreet as well although there seems to be a communication problem! But they don't seem to be played! Like I said early I'm all for fighting for the cause determination! And giving everything but you have to play football as well! I feel for jack colback today! He is good footballer maybe sometimes defensively he gets out of position but as a outlet counterattacking he's got it good with the ball! Let's hope next week they play better with having a full week together to train! The mags will be clapping there hands with this lot! Till I die!

Alreet Gary wasn't having a pop it's! Just the managers get the blame all the time! Apparently under. Gus there's a lot more relaxed atmosphere! Same intensity in training etc! Whilst I agree some games have been absolute schoolboy stuff! There have been phases in the games we look a different team! I just don't want the fans to turn at such a critical stage of the season! And believe me they have the right too! With what we've witnessed over the years! But we will turn them into absolute wrecks if we turn now! We are all human we all make mistakes! It just seems that we are making them week in and week out! I really hope that this team can find it within themselves to play descent football! Something the fans would be proud of and if we have to go down! Let's do it in style and fight till the end!? Then I awake??? Seriously safc you owe the fans big time! Can I just say that recently we have been playing some descent football! And equally in the same measure some absolute dross! And after training all week you would that the team would actually try to play a game of football! And I'm not blaming Gus for the teams problems! They are the same players as three previous managers are testament to! Stop blaming the manager he doesn't Go on the pitch! It's about time this team produced consistently on a regular basis!
