I'm a tad annoyed why Borini wasted over six weeks of our time. Poyet said it not because he doesn't want to come then what is it? Does his missus not want to? She has just been on twitter saying we don't have a clue, do you think we will ever find out? I know he demanded high wages but we could match his Liverpool wages and he would play week in week out. *sigh*

1.) I "heard" today that it was the agent because he wouldn't be getting any of the fee why he didn't Join SAFC and that's why the QPR deal came up resulting in Borini turning the move down on personal terms

Slightly confused why Wickham started on the wing again and Fletcher up top. Fletcher's lack of movement shows he shouldn't be starting games. Like many others annoyed Buckley didn't earn another start but still in Gus we trust!
1.) Wickham needs to be through the middle every week as he doesn't have the pace or trickery to play out wide! As far as a goal scorer goes I think Wickham is good enough given the right supply. He showed us at the back end of last season what he can do even against the very best!
As far as transfers go I think that we need cover at the back, another winger and maybe a playmaker!

2.) Wickham should play up top every week he does not have the pace or trickery to play out wide. He needs players either side of him but he showed us last season he can finish even against the best sides in the league!
As far as transfers go I think we need at least another two defenders, a winger/playmaker and a back up striker as good as Wickham if not better.
Micah Richards, Matija Nastasic and Scott Sinclair all told to find a new club by Monday. I think they would all fit into our team if not into the squad!
I think Gus needs to push the van Dijk deal through a top quality young centre back that would be at the club for a long time!
3.) Agreed. Wickham should've been substituted before Fletcher. His lack of movement and poor touches showcase why we need another striker. There were even a couple instances where he physically got in the way of our own players. Bad day, I suppose, but still not sure why Altidore came on for Fletch other than a fitness issue. Granted CW can't play on the left, but I feel Buckley could possibly do better in his place. Just a poor performance, really. He did save that one QPR attempt off the corner, so credit for that. Hopefully, it was just a bad day. I know one thing: They have 2 weeks to straighten their sh*t out before we host Tottenham, whom is doing well this year.
4.) Need wickham down the middle and get rid of fletcher. Need another centre midfielder to play along with cats and rodwell, Larson isn't a centre midfielder. I would of had Gomez in for him today
5.) The reason we play him on the wing is simply that jozy & fletch can't, they're full on strikers where as wick can play on the wings as well, that being said fletch isn't hitting well, jozy bless his work rate & assists isn't really hitting the targets, might as well shove wick up there & play johnson & buckley on the wings. going to be an interesting two days waiting to see who we end up with that's for sure.

It looks like we've got Alvarez in the bag I doubt we'll get Van Dijk or Alderweireld never mind both, but I hope i'm wrong. Thoughts?
1.) G_hewitson, I am glad with the Alvarez signing he is good player and done really well at Inter Milan, van Dijk looks promosing as only us and Southampton are after him but Southampton are using van Dijk as a back up target if they don't get there main centre half so if we act quick enough we should get him, fingers crossed!

There has been a lot of people saying we have signed Alvarez but there has been no confirmation about on it on ssn or anything like that . Hope we do sign him!
