heard a rumour that shaun maloneys move to leicester didn't happen and now there is interest from sunderland. great signing with defoe i think, 32 yr old but very fit young lad in my mind. 4-4-2 i hope

ID take Maloney very skilful despite another 30 + player !. i'd also push Van AnHolt forward on the left wing or in left midfield to give us some pace there and put jones Revelivere and/or Vergini for the full back spots !

He is attracting a lot of attention by all accounts. Celtic would sell for that sort of money but others would probably be in for him.
2.) Poyets system is a good system and would work with a few additions to the side, need more quality all round!
Wickham will score goal up front!
Need at least two more wingers (with pace), another striker, two centre backs and a right back that can actually overlap and cross a ball.
Players will perform better when there is competition for places.

transfer day is not all about getting players in but also keeping your best players. so far no rumours on johnson, catts, wickham or giaccherini leaving which is great news. safc have confirmed coates and alvarez on 1 yr loans. yeah we are maybe 1 defender light and a striker short but not to bad tbh. few hours left so where is this surprise gus promised us?? we have plenty of attacking midfielders so things looking good

another day and another gus deadline goes by. borini to sign within 48 hrs I think he said. now is it just me or does he genuinely think this will happen or basically saying get your finger out lee. last wk it was 4 in 5 days and the week before he said we was close to a few signing and we got one. still need a striker, centre half and another full back. and of course wickham to sign an extension. i'm sure by the end of the month all will be sorted and hopefully lee will deserve a good break before january

lets not panic just yet about brid , buck and fletch. they are all good championship players and we will get some cash 4 them. maybe 7 mil total. fletch got injured and hasn't been the same player but in saying that he didn't get the service last season either. feed our strikers and the goals will come.
