Sunderland make enquiry about debuchy (hope this is true) . not sure we should pay 10mil plus borini for ayew. we should try to lure vidic as he is now a free agent. if we got all three of these I would be happy. not so happy to lose borini.

2013/ 14, 59 goals conceded. 2014/ 15, 53 goals conceded.
so far this season, 46 goals conceded in 23 games- at that rate it will be 76 by the end of the season! And no sensible centreback signed over that period, just a combination hasbeens, misfits and loans who don't even get a game. Meanwhile, we continue to parade a centreback pairing who have combined age of 72 and do a good imitation of a revolving door. Yes, we really need another winger, absolute priority.
I suppose Sam's luck had to run out sometime, after all, it is not as if he seemed to know what he was doing since he arrived. We have had it, and the bloated squad of losers we have won't get us back up either. Short may have spent millions, but he has always spent it grudgingly and too late, so we have never signed much more than those no-one else wanted, though we have still paid over the odds and paid silly wages. Total re-building job required, while the gap between Premier and the rest gets ever bigger.

the whole transfer sagas show that if this club is to move forward we need a football brain and experience in the boardroom! the headless chicken scenario goes on! we have a mis match of players some still here some on loan and we need a massive clearout! can you see Short wanting to stay in charge if we are in the Championship? Shame we couldn't get Nial Quinn back at least as a football director!

Agree poi2311 Borini I feel won't be here next season but we need to keep him for now! the Ayew fee (if true) is ridiculous and borders on a panic buy! Debucy yes definatly and what's happened to the young Norwegian international left back supposed to be signing for us!?

Linked with £5million move for Pato, although its the mirror that's reporting. Would hope that this is true and he stays injury free. cracking player in my eyes. M'vila and Leroy fer rumours are true then I would be happy if that was our business done. What do others think?

I live in Brazil Pato couldn't get a game for Corinthians so loaned to one of their biggest rivals strange in itself. At Sao Paulo last season when they were doing really well he often didn't start. This season he hasn't done a great deal until the last few weeks where his form has been better, I'd highlight though this is Brazil series a not the premier league. I'd draw exact comparisons with Scocco. For me Pato is definetley one to swerve. Really want a player go for Elias of Corinthians!

got to say safc were great last night. kone and kirchoff were a class act. we butchered man city. hart was the difference. city were time wasting in the first half. they had one shot in second half. defence was brilliant. well done to the new signings and to the rest of the team, keep them performances coming and we will beat the drop. ha'way the lads.

Brilliant display! the only thing missing was goals! the 3 Ks were excellent and finally we have someone that can take a corner without dispatching it out of play! Have we left it too late? the Liverpool game is vital!

I think we should enquire about debuchy. also go for Nemanja Vidic who is available on a free. vidic is by far better than the defenders we have now. I would also have tried to get adebayor before paying a 1million loan fee for n'doye.

Defoe is just not good enough to keep us up on his own. we need to spend big on a striker and a quality center back. time to get the cheque book out or get relegated mr short.

agree with bobstokoe1973. I would take any of them two at the minute. Rhodes would have been good for us. don't think we signing anybody else according to ssn new. we are a RB down and now looks like we are even shorter on the shoddy strike force we have. graham and fletch going out is a good thing but not when we don't bring in another striker. went from shoddy strike for to nothing in my eyes. same old every year.
