Advocaat seems keen on 25 year old korean cb Kim Young-gwon who he worked with during 2006 world cup. Also Congerton is showing interest in Joselu from the bundesliga. Were also being linked with bayer leverkeusen defender giulio donati. We certainly need re-enforcements at the back.

Reports are suggesting that Ellis has given advocaat 50m to spend this summer. His first target is van dijk from celtic with fletch likey to go the other way

fletcher is rumoured to be going to celtic for 2million that's just over £10million lost
personally I don't know hat to thibk of van dijk I haven't seen to much or heard a great deal but if it gets the useless one that is fletcher out of our club ima ll for it

Van Dijk is a young CB. Proven as well. Pace, physicality, and can defend well. And score goals at the other end from corners. Good CB

Gus was saying tonite he was holding back on another striker in the hope that Borini would sign sure that's being niave!. we still havnt sorted the Whickam contract out so he needs to bring in another striker soon!

Well looks like the vergini deal will be done shortly. Atsu and cavanda were never real targets apparently, however gus says he wants four signings. I'm guessing three are vergini, borini and Alonso, any guesses on the fourth? Could the Rodriguez deal off reports be exaggerated?
1.) Probably Rodwell on loan deal I hope. I wonder what JCFulwell thinks. He normally gets things rite!!!!

i think Vergini would be a welcome signing as at right back he was outstanding!. I see Everton spent £28 million on aplayer so why can't we spend big money on a player (apart from the Borini bid )we need to spend big for quality and in the striker dept that needs to be done!

Mite be tuff getting Rodwell, there wil bee meny teems inn four him. Hope wee do though.
There will be at least a couple of signings other than the players we had on loan last season. Unfortunately my sauce doesn't know either.
4.) JCFULWELL I guess talking to kitchen condiments adds flavour to your life but obviously has no value to SAFC transfer forums, as you point out.

Reports linking us with lee of Bolton. That would be a good solid signing, were lacking wide men at the mo, especially if McLean and sess go. He looked every bit a premier league player two years ago but had a horrible year for injuries last term, that could put a bit of a downer on the deal but I would be happy to see him in red and white

Listen, borini and his agent aren't daft, the more they milk this the more money we will likely offer. They must be thinking if we're willing to pay 14 mill transfer then we're willing to go big with wage. I still think we'll see him up here next season
